Lashes By Crystal

I was excited to use Crystal after reading her amazing reviews and visiting her professional, detailed website. Her first time customer deal seemed too good to pass up, so I booked an appointment 6 days in advance (via text).
When I arrived at her home I was shocked to see how dirty, smelly her house was and felt quite intimidated by her 2 large pit bulls — I am an animal lover and these dogs were indeed sweet, but they definitely caught me off guard. I’m not opposed to at-​home salons, but this one was DEFINITELY not a relaxing, inviting setting and not anything portrayed through her web site.
I waited for her for a bit, as she was running late. When she did appear she mentioned that she had just gotten out of the shower and had my appt down for a half hour later, under a completely different name. She said that I could come back in a ½ hour when she was ready or just schedule for a different time. I decided to just leave.
I don’t post a lot on Unilocal,and there is a definite possibility that Crystal is the best eyelash artist in Dana Point, but I just felt that I should give people a head’s up on the condition of her home and scheduling capabilities.

Crystal is amazing! She has been doing my lashes for about six months and I get compliments every time I leave the house. She is always on time and never cancels on me. She is very easy to talk to and is fun to be around. She is extremely fast and does a fantastic job!!!

Crystal is a breath of fresh air after going to far too many cheap, money hungry, and/​or untalented lash artists. She’s very easy going, and accommodating to my busy work schedule. Unlike another place I’ve gone to, Crystal listens to exactly what kind of look the client is going for and will explain what she will do to achieve that goal; she also actually worked in a salon that specializes in lash extensions for a couple years and now does this in the convenience of her own home. I cannot express how thankful I am to finally find someone who is affordable and surpasses my expectations.
I’ve also referred my roommate here, who she does a fantastic job on as well; we are both now regulars of Crystal!

I came here after spending WAY too much elsewhere for lashes that looked exactly the same as my old lashes.
I got the 30min fill and Crystal did such an amazing job! She explained the process to me and I actually had a say in what my lashes would look like, unlike that other place. She helped me decide on a size and explained the upkeep of the lashes to me. Afterwards you can take a look at your lashes and if you need any adjustments Crystal is very willing to do so.
Crystal was just so nice and really easy to talk to. She works from home so be prepared to meet her adorable son and super friendly dogs haha. Parking isn’t too bad but the streets are small so you might have to do a bit of maneuvering. Oh and if you refer a friend you get a discount!

Crystal has by FAR the best lashes and best application that I’ve ever had! I’ve been to 4 other places before finding her and she does the best job by far.
Her prices beat everyone elses and I love how she knows so much about the different types of lashes, sizes, lengths and widths to give just the right, most gorgeous look for each person and each event.
I LOVE waking up in the morning looking like I have full on mascara and makeup done when I DONT have anything on at all, thanks to Crystals Lashes! I’m hooked for life! Shes truly incredible!
