I just love Ben and all the staff at Luca Shea Salon! They are top of the line. Usually salons in South county are intimidating when you walk in with your «bad hair day» — or if you’re like me and are fighting your way out of an «unruly hair season» — but not here; everyone is really sweet. The lighting is flattering. There isn’t a fluorescent bulb or square of linoleum in sight. The salon has a rustic, Restoration Hardware vibe where you just want to take a seat and sip tea and soak in the relaxing ambiance even if all the chairs are filled.
Further, I really appreciate when a stylist entertains my notions of what hairstyles I want while also giving me the down low on modifications that would actually flatter me. Ben is an amazing hairstylist and very personable yet professional. You can trust that he’ll give you a great look.
I recently decided to say goodbye to my long locks. He listened well and made me feel like I could take the big leap into short hair status and keep it rockstar quality. Nothing but positive reactions from friends and family and that’s saying something. Definitely recommend you check it out. Just don’t take my spot;)

Farra (owner with husband Ben) is THE BEST. In color she does what no one else can do, and I am really not exaggerating. Both my mom and I didn’t know our hair could look so good and so naturally weaved and well matched to complement our fair complexions. We wished we had her doing our hair a decade ago! «Where have you been all my life?!» She is gifted, and comes from a family of hair stylist experts… So I think it’s in her blood! Also, my hair is straight and long and fine, so it’s hard to cut well, but Farra cuts and layers it perfect every time. It is SO wonderful to have such a dependable hair stylist who will make me leave feeling beautiful with a cut and color I LOVE every time! Her and Ben are PROS.

The owner Ben cuts my hair and I really like it. He is very friendly and I trust his judgement. I recently let him cut bangs and people keep asking me where I get my hair done. They recommend products but I’ve never felt pressured to buy anything. Always on time.

This was a nice find. Since I passed by their location all the time on the way home from work, I couldn’t help but notice their sign out front that advertised prices for new clients. Given the great deal, I saw no harm in at least trying them out. Thankfully it worked out and I have been coming here for the past 3 years.
Each time I come in for my appointment I feel welcomed due to the friendly staff and inviting atmosphere. My stylist name is Kathleen is she’s always pleasant to talk to. She’s also good at understanding exactly what I want just from showing her a picture or two first, and then discussing how to make it work before just diving right in, which I appreciate it. Oh, and I was even able to get some good product recommendations from her that I use at home for styling. I definitely recommend this salon to anyone in the area.

Happy to have found them! This is such a cool, stylish little salon! Ben was super kind and worked with my busy schedule today. Robbie was sweet and worked gently with the shampooing, my favorite part (head massage)! I have long straight hair and struggle with volume. Ben gave me the straight forward answer to what would work with my hair and gave my hair a lovely cut. You would be surprised how many people get a simple trim and layer wrong. Luca Shea Salon got it right! They offer teas and light refreshments. Oh and the bathroom and shampoo area is a must see! Sounds weird but the floor is made of pennies. Ben is not only a hair guru but super creative in décor!

Luca Shea has been wonderful surprise. Although it’s been right down my street in Laguna Niguel I just discovered this unique salon only this year. The experienced staff and stylists are very friendly and knowledgeable about the latest beauty and hair trends. Ben, the owner, is a color specialist and has natural blond blends like no other. Leah cuts and highlights my daughter’s hair and she’s also thrilled with the results. We’re big fans of Luca Shea.

I first went to Luca Shea with a Groupon. I liked so much that I don’t look for Groupon’s deals anymore, I finally found a stylist that I trust. Lea is FANTASTIC. Super nice, cute and competent.

Ben does a fantastic job shampooing, cutting and highlighting my hair. I usually dislike salons, but here I feel very comfortable!

I’ve been seeing Kathleen for a few years now and she is the best hairstylist I have ever had. She is a master of blonde, and gives me the perfect ombré every time. I get stopped all the time by people who want to know where I get my hair done. She always gives me the perfect layers, and never over-​trims. I have nothing but great things to say about Luca Shea. Such a cute salon with a great atmosphere! I make special trips from LA to get my hair done here because it is imply the best !

Ben is amazing and the salon is so relaxing and in a great location. I have know Farra and Ben for years as. prior to Ben Farra had cut and
hair. Ben does an amzing job with both mine and my teens hair. His color lasts longer than any color I have had before. His cuts are great and he always listens carefully. Love the shop and love Ben and Farra!

Sara is the best! I love how cute this place is too! From what I have seen, the stylists are professional and desire and to give you the outcome you want, while weighing in with their professional opinion. They may recommend products but they are not pushy in selling them. I’m going back for a color treatment next month and can’t wait!

Consistently exceptional work & service. Originally worked with Jodi who was able to do things others had not been able to accomplish at the same level. When she moved I was concerned with whether/​how long it would take to find someone with comparable skills. Began working with Kathleen and she didn’t miss a beat.. .cannot be happier.
