good food. omelette station was good. service was good. fresh fruit station was good. pastry section was good. waffle station was good. burritos were good. everything they had was good. price was fair with the limited selection. view on the water was nice my one complaint was the it needed at least one more station, with some other hot food or desert or something. like french toast. or ice cream or something. i felt like i was missing something, like i wanted more, but I couldn’t get it here. i would go back

Excellent location, free valet parking and the best Sunday buffet around! The staff was more than accommodating for our large group(over 20).

As usual, the shrimp is great, the server is wonderful and the music entertainer is unusually very good. I’ve never seen this guy before but he is black, has a great voice and stage presence, and so far, his music is all original!

I’ve lived in this town all my life, my Daughter recently got married and was headed off to Catalina so we decided to send her off for her honeymoon with a Sunday morning brunch with my Brother and Nephew from Australia. We arrived pretty early and were told all areas were reserved and that our party of 8 could sit in the bar area. We were crammed into such a small area while all these open tables sat there. Our server never picked up the used plates or asked to refill our horrible cold coffee at $ 3.75 a cup! Finally another hard working guy who wasn’t our server picked up our plates. The guy making waffles had a tip jar out like it wasn’t enough to feel the burn of the pocketbook on overpriced food and beverages. We ended up finishing our meals long before the Sunday rush arrived. So $ 185.00 of horrible service and food. I’m only writing this review because it was brought up tonight in conversation with my Husband and Brother reminiscing about the good and bad times my Brother has experienced on his visit. Needless to say we had a wonderful experience tonight here in the town of Williams Arizona at a restaurant called The Pine Country Restaurant. Half the price and that was also a party of 8 with Steak dinners!

Good place to have a nice lunch time, food is delicious, service needs to improve, still waiting for a sandwich and a salad… for almost 45 minutes and they’re not that busy.

The views are amazing. You can’t beat the vibe of this place. The patio sits right on the harbor and you can see all the boats coming and going. Had a few appetizers, guacamole and chips and calamari strips. The food was OK nothing to write home about. Didn’t come for the food though we went for the views and some drinks. Had to wait about 15 minutes for a outside table on the patio so went inside and had a few drinks at the bar. The staff was very friendly and our waitress did a wonderful job checking on our drinks and always coming by to see if everything was good. I will definitely go back to just relax and have a few drinks on the patio and enjoy the views. Went on a Sunday and it was pretty busy for the few hours we were there. Not even sure if they take reservations but definitely I’d suggest getting a reservation if you want to sit outside. The food prices were pretty high and nothing really stood out so that’s why we went with some appetizers. They need to revamp the menu and that’s the reason I didn’t give them 5 stars.

I am not one to leave reviews but given the circumstances, I feel like it’ll maybe bring some light to serious issues. I’ve been here maybe 3 times and eaten here twice. Both times were disappointing. The first time I was with a large party so I gave wind and sea the benefit of the doubt on why the quality of the food was so bad(cold chicken, looked undercooked…). However, this time my husband and I went for lunch. We chose it strictly for the pretty view on such a nice sunny day. We were seated within 5 minutes, it was busy but not overwhelmingly crowded(there were open tables scattered). So that part was nice. Our waitress Chickie showed up right away and was polite. Our drinks took a while to come out, but we honestly didn’t mind. My husband and I ordered nachos and fish and chips to share. His fish and chips were decent(definitely not worth $ 20 though) so I’m not going to focus on that. I’m going to focus on the nachos… never have I seen a more disgusting excuse for such a simple dish. There was cheese scattered on the top layer, cold and not melted. When I went to touch it, there was basically shredded, refrigerated, uncooke cheese on top of this meal. It was NOT edible by any means. And given that I’m 7 months pregnant, I felt like I had no choice but to send it back. At this point, I honestly felt uncomfortable even eating there and by the time Chickie came back to our table, my husbands fish and chips were 90% gone. I wanted to just ask for the bill but figured I’d give them a chance to correct the mistake(maybe the cooks let this one fall through the cracks.). About 10 – 15 minutes later, the second order of nachos came out. I am not joking when I say that the chips and cheese looked half burnt as if the plate of nachos had been placed inside a microwave and nuked. The cheese on top was burnt, the ones underneath were cold and rubbery and still uncooked. At this point, we didn’t want to be rude. We picked at it for a minute, then asked for the check. We received the check and noticed we had been charged for our drinks, fish and chips, and two orders of nachos!!! At this point, my husband didn’t even want to wait around hoping for Chickie to make an appearance. He got up, tracked her down, handed her his card and asked her to fix the mistake. It’s been 3 hours and the both of us have had upset stomachs since about 45 min after leaving Wind and Sea. We have paid for crappy food before and we are by no means snobs. But to me, this was just unacceptable. $ 50 dollars later and I’m not full, I have an upset stomach and I have genuine concern about what I just ingested during my pregnancy. I think this is a HUGE problem and liability. I even left a review with our check, not sure if they pass it on to management. I will not go back, I will not refer people to go their and I DO plan on contacting management.

I’ve been here 3times. 1st time I had the calamari steak. It was huge. It was good! We were celebrating a friends bday. They gave us a huge complimentary mud pie. 2nd time. I had the fish and chips at the outdoor patio. It was a big serving I shared it with my mom. 3rd time was today. I had it in the bar again. We sat by the window. I ordered the fish & chips. My husband had the grilled chicken club sandwich. I also sampled the clam chowder and the seafood bisque. Both soup were tasty and meaty. I went for the seafood bisque. Both of kids are picky eaters. They ate our fries. I enjoy coming here. The service today was excellent compared to the prior visit. I’m here for the view. And it’s and nice treat. ;) Our servers name is Watson today. It is pricey. I do recommend sharing a plate. Portions are pretty big. I love the location of this restaurant because u have a beautiful view of the harbor. U will see sailboats, kayakers, SUP, and outrigger canoes go by. So a portion of ur bill is going toward ur view so go ahead and be picky where u want to sit!!! ;)

What happened to this place?!? It used to be one of our favorite hang outs. We just ordered guac & chips and didn’t get salsa. Why would you give guac without salsa? But I double-checked the menu and sure enough, it said«Guacamole and Chips». One star back because that was my incorrect assumption. Just seems pretty basic that you’d get salsa with guac. I was dying for one of their Artichokes, but that’s off the menu. Boo! But let’s get to the main point why Wind and Sea went from 4 – 5 stars to 1 – 2 stars in my book… My fiancée and I each ordered jumbo prawns. We each got five, pre-frozen, overcooked, smallish-shrimp. They were supposed to be grilled, but I didn’t see a single grill mark. They were so chewy that they tasted 100% microwaved! Sorry Wind and Sea, you lost me and my family as patrons. Sad to see an awesome place sink so low.

3.5 Stars I can’t say the food here is unique or spectacular but it is consistently good(usual CA fare such as chicken Caesar salad, fried calamari, clam chowder, fish and chips, etc.). BUT, something keeps us coming back particularly on days when we are feeling too lazy to cook, and too impatient to wait for a table at other eateries along the Southern CA coastline. I think it’s because of the open layout of this restaurant with its Island décor that makes you feel like you’re on vacation — whether you live 5 minutes or an hour away. Sometimes, a girl just wants to «brunch» at a restaurant that has a lot of windows, a lot of space, won’t require a wait, and that will allow her to take in an unobstructed view of the ocean, sailboats, and sun. Oh yeah, now I remember why we keep coming back.

My husband and I had a late lunch here over the weekend. The service was great, the views and atmosphere were great, the clam chowder and sourdough rolls were good… The rest of our lunch, the fish and chips with coleslaw we ordered, We didn’t like at all. Our server gave us great service and was friendly and efficient and quick with refills. We appreciated her service delivering our food with a friendly smile.

Danielle was our waitress and she made our day/evening fantastic ! Very personable, friendly, and a sweetheart !! We would come back just to be served by Danielle again! She’s truly an asset to the restaurant — hope the owner realizes this!

Skip this place. The food is sub par, the staff is stressed out, and blame customers for Their mistakes. I have managed a restaurant before and never seen or heard of a GM treat customers so poorly. The GM here is a bad example on how customers need to be treated.

We came here for a early light dinner just having clam chowder and calamari. I highly recommend the calamari when they prepare it different. Clam Chowder was ok then it could have tasted better. I would have liked to enjoy some more seafood here that day then I wasn’t very hungry. The ambiance is very nautical and you can enjoy the view of the Dana Point Harbor. This restaurant is in a good location near the harbor and shops so you can walk around after you dine here even enjoy the sunset views while dinning.

Eat outside if the weather is nice — fun to sit where you can look out over the harbor(saw a 4-person paddle board with a labrador acting as coxswain!) Service was good. Ordered the macadamia nut crusted Mahi Mahi — it was so uniformly coated that it almost looked like it came from a factory, but it was tasty. The bokchoy didn’t really mix with the fish/sauce(and it was cut up the way celery usually is cut — which is unusual for bokchoy). Skip the clam chowder… meh. Worth returning to try other things on the menu.(The nachos appetizer looked really tasty!)

We always used to come here for the mai-tais. But we’re sitting here at a table right now and they changed their mai-tai recipe and they’re not so nice… It now tastes like fruit punch with a splash of rum. The Mai-tai’s used to be lovely: dark rum, with some more rum, topped off with rum, and a splash of pineapple juice. We’re very sad. We’re going to leave and not come back. See my photo. This happy hour mai-tai is six dollars.

Came here for banquet dining, Our large party reserved the upstairs private dining room(it does not have an elevator; so any elders or handicap people, you are screwed) and does not have its own bathroom upstairs. It does however, have its own bar, which was great! This places feels like its stuck in the 80’s, with all the brass, green carpets. It has a bar on the main level to the left, and had a one man guitarist playing music. Seems like a chill place to hang out. The main restaurant is to the right and has outdoor seating. People come here for the view, which is just great. The food itself was good. The salmon tasted fine and was quite moist. Steak was cooked a good medium rare, but voided any flavor. I didn’t try their chicken, Good choice for dining in the harborfront.
