I wanted to take my daughters candlepin bowling, so I drove up here from Westchester. The owners of this place are so nice, and plus they had a big collection of Scooby Doo paraphernalia(some of which we inherited). Will definitely come back again!

Great fun in an old-time duckpin alley. Nothing much has changed over the last twenty years we have been going and I suspect very little since the 50’s. Genuine and welcoming place with reasonable cost and people who help you with everything from the history of the alley to how to knock down the pins. Love this place.

FYI: «Duck Pin» bowling is different from regular bowling in a few ways: –The scoring is slightly different. Let the friendly staff explain that to you! –The bowling balls are smaller, with no holes for your fingers – you just grip the entire ball before you throw. I was a little uncomfortable with that at first, but I got the hang of it quickly. I liked that the balls weren’t so heavy that they would tax your fingers and arms. –I was fascinated with how mechanical and old school everything was, including how the balls are returned to you. Physics is awesome. The place is good, cheap fun. The pricing is based on time only, not number of people. There are different levels of pricing, but to get an idea, it is $ 22/hour/lane. Each lane can have at most 5 people playing. Shoe rentals are $ 1.50/pair. There are a few drinks and snacks you can purchase, so don’t go in there expecting a meal! I had a great time with friends on a Sunday afternoon. It seems like a popular place for local Danbury families, though not overcrowded. I would choose this place again over other bowling places since it is much cheaper!

My family and I had a great time at this place. I give this place 5 stars because it was really value. A solid hour of fun for the whole family. It was our first time doing«duck pin» bowling, but it was super-fun and we all would consider doing it again. I only bowl once a year on average, but would certainly consider going back and the staff was really friendly, the bowling enjoyable, and the price was right.
