Overview:
Parking lot is paved with ample parking front, side, and rear. Building exterior is clean. Front entrance staff was polite and welcoming. Cover charge was of average cost. Interior is spacious with an upscale décor. Plenty of seating around main stage. Bar staff were inattentive. Dancers were average (with the exception of one) and exceptionally uninvolved. Drink quality was good however EXTREMELY overpriced! Private dances were also overpriced. Management and security staff seem disinterested in dancer safety. This club has gone down hill in recent years. Based on multiple factors, we will most likely not return.
Details of Visit:
Arrived with my wife at 10:30pm on a Saturday. This place should have been packed but there was plenty of parking. That should have been our first clue. I have been to Elans previously on many occasions and always had an enjoyable time, but I haven’t had the opportunity to go in a couple of years… yes years.
We walked in and were promptly greeted by the front desk girl and a neatly dressed bouncer. I paid the $ 10 cover charge for both my wife and I (totaling $ 20) and were told to «Have a great night». This is were the «great» part of the night ended. As we rounded the corner to enter the main part of the building, IT WAS DEAD! The only place that had ANY activity was the bar /​bar stage. We sat down at the bar and our attention was immediately directed to a very attractive woman on the bar stage. As we sat down, she was finishing her set and quickly jaunted off into the back room (we would not see her again for the remainder of our stay). We spent the next 15 minutes (my wife kept track of the time) sitting at the bar waiting for one of the 3 people standing around behind the bar to even acknowledge that we were there. In all fairness there was one bartender who appeared to actually be working. Mind you there was MAYBE 10 – 12 people (including us) sitting at the bar. One bartender finally came over and asked what we would like to drink. I ordered my wife a Fuzzy Navel and myself a Long Island Iced Tea. The Long Island was strong (overpoured and not enough cola) and my wife received a Mudslide. For 2 drinks the total came to $ 25.00!!! Are you kidding me?! She didn’t even make the right drink for my wife. I informed the bartender that we ordered a Fuzzy Navel and she immediately apologized and corrected the error. When I asked if that would change the price, she informed me that it would not. I have been to many bars and strip clubs in my time and never felt so ripped off.
We agreed that these would be the only drinks that we ordered based solely on the price. We hoped that the dancers would make up for it with stellar performances. The next dancer to come to the bar stage appeared that she really didn’t want to be there. Her «performance» was less of a dance and more of a «I’d rather be anywhere but here» (with the occasional eye roll for that extra level of commitment). After 2 ½ «songs» (can’t really call them full songs considering that they are cut so short) she got off the stage and disappeared into the back. The bar stage was empty for the next 15 minutes (the remainder of our stay). While there we noticed that all of the girls (maybe 6 total) were occupied with people. One girl was sitting on a gentleman’s lap who kept trying to kiss her and grope her. She asked him at least 3 times to stop before getting up and walking away. The security staff did nothing. Very disheartening to know that management apparently condones this type of behavior from their guests.
At one point the DJ called all dancers to the back for individual introduction on stage and to announce the 2-​for-​1 dance special. Two dances for the «reasonable» price of $ 25.00. It used to be $ 20.00 but apparently they must have been hit hard due to the lack of attendance (or maybe it’s just inflation). The dancers came out one at a time and just walked straight from the curtain off stage and right back to what they were doing before. Why bother. This was the only time that we saw anyone on or near the main stage. We finished our drinks and left.

Awful, simply awful, great place if you are a regular but for me and my party of six, just terrible!
Girls are ok, strong OK! (this was a Saturday night) they said ignored is the whole night we came in sober btw… At first I thought maybe we aren’t pretty enough for stripers, then I caught it all the girls circulated around 45 yr old guys…
We were there for 4 hours, not one girl came up to any of us! Not even a hello. Even the bar tender was rude! Well in all honesty one was nice one obviously did not want to be there!
The bouncer straight told us that it was because all the girls had clients… or people they are used to, we were smartly dressed and clean and had plenty of cash! But we weren’t familiar?
Ok fine I get that! But (using a stop watch) out of four hours there were 10 – 15 minute moments where nobody was on stage or even out and about!
I highly recommend you go to a real gentleman’s club unless your a local and maybe you might get the time of day! Ended up giving the one good bar tender a 100 dollar tip. She’s the only one who was remotely nice!

«Ye girls be friendly» is the first commandment of any strip bar and it’s the rule here. Beware that I’m not a regular to strip clubs but this place has a sub par bar with no beer taps, just bottles. I guess it’s probably some BS rule.
The raring is an actual 3.6 stars. Good place to come with your friends.

This place is awful.
We went on a Sunday night. Knowing fully well that there would be only a few dancers and probably even not very good ones. We thought being a slow night, there would be more than enough dancers to entertain us. Boy were we wrong.
Let me be honest, the place looks very nice. Plenty of seating, nice main stage and a rather spacious bar. But the bar had a stage. Now I’ve not been to many gentlemen’s clubs, but enough to where a stage behind the bartenders was strange to me. The dancers are too far away to even tip most of the time and when they finally do come over to you, they straddle the bar to take your tip. Very weird.
Also, a decent amount of the time, most of the dancers were completely clothed. Weird.
Lastly, we had to request that the dancers come to the main stage to dance for us. Where does that happen??? And we really had to try too. We asked the dancers, the bartender and the DJ why no one was on the main stage and they pretended to not know why. We finally asked for the person in charge and they sent out some other DJ instead. After waiting a good hour, we FINALLY got two dancers to the main stage. Smh…
I’m generally an easy customer to please. But it infuriates me to see business owners who don’t even attempt to compete and give me a reason to spend money at their establishment. And then not even come out and face unhappy consumers who have questions about their poor business practices. Even on the slowest of Sunday nights, there’s no reason you have to try so hard to give your money away at a strip club.
Horrid.

Don’t get me wrong. There’s nothing wrong with this club. But it’s not the best club I’ve ever to. The girls are attractive. They have a full bar. You should have a decent time.

Great place. If you’re looking for that sleazy strip club… this isn’t it! This is a gentlemen’s club. Great drinks, beautiful girls, and an upscale atmosphere. The owners are nice as hell and everyone in the place is normally friendly. They have a live DJ at night and they always play great music.

EXCELLENT croissants. Coffee drinks are not exactly their forte, but considering the area, this place probably hosts some of the best baristas Danbury has. On a parenthetical note, there’s often live entertainment (music, dancing, etc.) which can be hit or miss. All in all, a great spot for a casual snack or refreshing drink.
