Had a great experience at TK’s — son’s 18th birthday and he got 18 free wings! Nice selection of beers on tap and bottle, lots of flavored of wings. Controllable TV at each booth. Our waiter tonight was super polite, friendly, and thoughtful! Only note I’d make is that the«mild» wings we ordered definitely had a bit of spice! OK with us but maybe get a «no spice» flavor if you don’t want a bit of heat!

I’m definitely a fan of TK’s, the wings are amazing and I’m always overwhelmed when it comes my turn to pick a flavor. Only complaint: they don’t carry Jack Daniels.

TK’s is usually a hit-or-miss for me, so that is why I’m leaving the just«Okay,» just«Average» review. My friends and I have been going to this sports bar for years, and we’ve had some groovy times, but that was back before they changed their wing recipe. TK’s used to serve smaller, tastier wings. After a while(and I can’t pinpoint exactly when the change occurred) they switched over to larger wings — the more generic, frozen and/or store bought kind(at least, that’s what it tastes like). No worries, however, because we just began ordering boneless wings instead, and they’re just fine. That is, until I had a poor experience with them one night. Maybe it was the sauce I chose(always the Jerkodactyl), but something about the wings and/or sauce tasted sour. Not a major complaint, though I did get sick. I still find TK’s has more«hits» than misses. The list of wing sauces is commendable; the variety keeps it interesting, and I’ve had a few other items off the menu: mac & cheese is great, as well as the fried ravioli, but God help ‘em if they brought back the California fries slathered in oil and mountains of minced garlic… I’m not big into sports, although it is a «Sports Bar,» so that aspect of it doesn’t interest me. Best avoided on nights of big games(if you’re not particularly fond of sporting events), because the crowds come in droves, and the parking is limited. Aside from all that, the staff is always very friendly, and I’m pretty sure I’ll still find myself going back to TK’s whenever I’m in need of some last minute fried ravioli and a beer.

This is a really awesome place to get a delicious, quick bite. They serve various food but the highlight of the menu is their chicken wings. I’m not a big fan of spicy so I always get the Sweet BBQ wings sauce. When served, they come with loads of sauce both on and around the wings if you want to dip a bit of extra sauce. They have choices of blue cheese and ranch. I recommend the blue cheese as it goes great with their wings. The atmosphere is great. Each table has their own TV with remote and you are also surrounded by many other tvs too. There is a back area if you don’t want to be seated near the bar but you will sacrifice the TVs.

This is the best sports bar in the State, it’s not the biggest, and sometimes you can’t find a seat but you can find any game in this bar and the owner is on top of it. The game ends, and another one is put on. There is never a TV without some sort of game on and the main game always has loud volume unlike many other pretend sports bars in the area. The wings are number 1 here and sports is number 2. The bartenders are very friendly and engaging and the owner is a great guy. If you are looking for a Gordon Ramsey meal look elsewhere, this place is for beer, sports, and wings.

If good wings are important to you, then TK’s is the place to eat in Danbury. In many restaurants, wings are considered a prelude to the rest of the menu; but here, wings are the star. And depending on your taste, they will have a sauce to match. My recommendation, if you are OK with some heat, is the Caribbean sauce. The rest of their food is pretty much standard pub fare, and it can be somewhat inconsistent(e.g., every piece of bacon I’ve had here on a burger has been unevenly cooked). But you have to respect their skill at delivering great tasting wings so well and so consistently.

Standard issue sports bar with a lively, happy buzz. Service was friendly if not exactly efficient; we had to ask for things a few times. The problem here is that the food is mediocre. Nachos were dry and pedestrian and served with chili that was unpleasantly sweet tasting. The wings for which they are known were nice and meaty but severely undercooked, without the crispy snap a good buffalo wing should have. We ordered our with the regular«Famous Buffalo Hot» sauce and were disappointed to find the sauce not hot or interesting at all. This is standard bar food prepared to appeal to as wide a culinary audience as possible, not that there is anything wrong with that. I get no pleasure from writing bad reviews and will say there was nothing really bad about this place but I can’t give more than two stars.

Love this place and the food. Only thing that could use improving is the service. If you are not in a booth in plain sight, you could be waiting around for a minute for service. Highly suggest(aside from the wings with the variety of awesome flavors of sauce to get) the angry potter, nachos, and buffalo fries(try em curly, they’re delicious!!) I currently live out of state now, but I can’t wait to visit again, get some good food and beer!

It was my husband’s birthday and he wanted free wings. They were horrible, super small and tough. I had a burger, which was dry and tasteless. It’s just not worth the 15-minute drive for free wings, they were awful. I’d rather pay for good wings at Buffalo Wild Wings where the wings are flavorful, juicy and huge.

The selection of wings is awesome! Sadly, mine were cold. So, how can I go on from there? I’ll try again someday, and if it improves, I’ll let you know.

I always come here for friend’s birthday because they give out free wings. Would I come when there is not friends birthday? Maybe not. Nothing really stands out. Maybe because we always come in a large group, the orders always come slow. The food is just ok for me.

Wings are like a complement to beer and good times, so even though TK’s wings weren’t exactly fall-off-the-bone tendercooked(I’d give the wings 6 out of 10 for proficiency of cooking), I give this place full marks for housing 52 flavours. Plus, wings aren’t exactly gourmet food, so it doesn’t matter We tried three flavors. On the fire scale, we chose equal representations of hot, fire-brimstone, and hell. 1. Regular Buffalo Wings– Nice heat and tang– 8⁄10 2. Suicide– It really lives up to the name. It is a little inedibly hot and good for collegiate-level-dare-contests, trying to win Darwin’s awards. Even so– 6⁄10 3. Big Country– This is the best combination i’ve had. Teriyaki, garlic and hot sauce. It is reasonably spicy but does not distract from the distraction(ie the game!) 10⁄10 The ambience was cosy, sporty and fun. The waitress was attentive. Overall experience was fun. Will definitely go again!

Best wings in Danbury, hands down. They were always great, and then they had a stretch where they offered smaller wings than normal, but they changed it up, because the last few times I was in there, the wings were much larger, and on point. I would totally reccomend this place!

This place is a great pub and an oustanding sports bar(personal TV’s in the booths). Wings are great, so many flavors to choose from — we had the Big Country and Cajun and they were delicious. Atmosphere is great. Will definitely be back. Did I mention they pour a pretty decent pint of Guinness?

If you are looking for a birthday wing special, skip TKs entirely and just go to Michaels II. A bit of a drive to Bethel, but you get wings for your age, and you get a person who is willing to listen. Brought my brother out for my birthday in March(I turned 27) and went to Michaels II and had wings no problem. Went to TKs next *with my mom in the car mind you* and was told that my mom had to sit in and accompany us throughout the whole meal even though she did not want anything to eat or drink. The waitress wouldn’t even let her come in and sit without purchasing a drink and wouldn’t let her verify that yes he was 18 and she was our mom. Just a ridiculous experience and put a huge damper on my birthday celebrations. TKs contacted me to promise I could come in for replacement wings the following weekend, and when I showed up I was told that wasn’t the case and offered wings for a discount instead. No thanks. Just stay away from here. And as a side note to the rebuttal posted from TKs I went to Michaels on my birthday and brought my brother and WASNOT required to have my mom come in with us. We enjoyed wings and drinks and would happily return. Even further, I have brought my brother and his girlfriend to TKs before just us and never been kicked out before… like I still believe, when it comes to honoring their«free wings» promotion, the more people they can kick out, the more money they save.

First of all I’ll start by saying that the sum total of my experiences here have been generally positive. But anyone who hasn’t been in for the birthday wings special needs to be forewarned. Outside of regular visits to T.K.‘s, I’ve stopped in a handful of times over the years on my birthday to get this special deal. It USED to be that you got one wing for every year of your age. I’d come in, order a couple of beers and would only get as many as I thought l could eat — never my full age — because I new some would go to waste. Last night I went, just myself, ordered a Spaten Oktoberfest and was told that the policy has changed. The special is now limited to 10 wings per person in the party. And, being just me, 10 wings was what I got. Happy birthday. Now, don’t get me wrong. I completely understand if some guy brings a buddy or his girlfriend/wife and they gorge themselves on 40+ wings between the two of them. That’s BS, plain and simple. What bothers me is that if it’s JUST the person with the birthday and they stop in after work(after a long, crappy commute) looking forward to something special(a policy that’s been in place for over 20 years) then why the 10 limit? A limit of 20? Fair enough, that should be plenty — even if you had only a light lunch in anticipation. But 10? Very lame. I ended up ordering another 10 wings at the standard price but only after sitting there for about 25MINUTES wondering where the two waitresses went. All in all not a memorable experience. BTW — this policy was only ever known through word of mouth. It was never something listed on the menu or on any signage in the place. Guess I should have called ahead first and saved myself the disappointment.

Was in CT for a family function and needed a place to sit and watch the Costa Rica/Greece World Cup game. A quick search for«sports bars» on Unilocal brought me to TKs. Arrived and the parking situation is a little confusing. There’s a driveway next to it, but pulling up it seemed that it was for resident parking for some apartments behind the bar. There is a small lot in front but only fits 5 cars and all were taken, so my boyfriend and I ended up parking across the street in a store lot that was closed thankfully. Trying to cross the busy road was tricky. Seemed like it was going to be a bust but in we went. The place is a little small and dark in the bar area, not sure about the rest of the place but they had TVs everywhere, so even if you couldn’t sit at the bar and were relegated to a booth, you still had your own private little TV to watch the game. Seemed like a local joint as everyone was chit-chatting and the bartender was attentive — asked us what we wanted to drink and would have the server bring it to us. We ordered some finger foods since we weren’t hungry — the fried raviolis and the ‘Hillbilly’ buffalo wings which were under the«hot» category. The fried raviolis I really liked, they were really nice and crispy. Other places I’ve eaten don’t deep fry them as much so you kind of have a mix of a soft/crunchy pasta. The wings I actually did like — they were tasty and hot but not so hot that I couldn’t enjoy them. We had a really great time — the game was exciting and people were friendly, food was good and the beers kept flowing. I would totally come back here if in the area. Oh and if anyone there knows Oscar — please tell him the Tica and Espanol say hello!
