If you’re visiting Douglas Lake or driving through the area and looking for a quick, fresh bite at reasonable prices — this is your place. Please keep in mind, this is NOT a trendy, hipster, or divey place, it’s a local corner market that serves food. Very plain and very simple. They sale bait, chips, cigarettes, sodas, etc. Food wise, the Daily Specials are tasty, burgers, club sandwich are really good and fresh made. Had the smoked ribs and liked them as well.
Highly recommend for a good meal.

Indian Creek is one of my favorite cures to a long day. Monday’s and Thursday’s, come out for «Pickin’ and Grinnin’ at Indian Creek.» A little mountain music and home cooked specials like my Gran used to make. No, not Gordon Ramsay, I said my Gran. This is country food, plus typical burgers hotdogs sandwiches and such. I come for the beef stew, chicken casserole, beans & cornbread; the banjo, the dulcimer, the fiddle, the harmonica… and all is well again.

Some locals told us about this place so we gave it a try. Very pleased to have tried it! Awesome bbq… awesome food in general! The portions are very large so well worth the money! If you’re in the area come give 8t a try!
