ATP Performance Facility

I was lucky enough to happen across this studio while vacationing from Michigan. If you are a southern Florida local this is absolutely no reason to search for any where else to train. The level of coaching and detail focus on perfecting movement skills separates this facility from the pack. If you are serious about improving your performance (in any and everything you do) this is place is 100% for you. I can not say enough great things about my experience at ATP.

I highly recommend Crossfit ATP! I live in Los Angeles and every year I come home for Christmas I drop in at a box to keep up with my training. This is definitely one of the best gyms I have come across. Not only it is clean but everyone is very welcoming!
Coach Stephanie Sardelli is simply amazing! She is very experienced and knowledgable. You will sure get your money worth with great coaching. I loved how it is not only about CrossFit movements but they also have a high emphasis on preventive functional training.
Stephanie and Juan Bacca spent quality time fixing me and making me more efficient with my breathing, oly techniques and many kettle bell movements.

I spent a weekend (Friday — Sunday) here for a Strong First kettlebell instructor certification course in March 2015 and it was an incredible experience. The space comfortably accommodated about 45+ people, and there is a second floor for martial arts training. It’s bare bones like any crossfit gym, but I loved the red and black inside – I felt strong and ready to lift!
The coaches were the best part. The owners and head coaches, Stephanie and Juan, were so great to work with and train alongside. Stephanie was a great peer and coach the entire weekend. Her positive energy and focus was contagious. She also gave me cues that were simple and helped me concentrate on being strong, rather than perfect. My hardstyle kettlebell swing already met «standards», but she reminded me to stay tight, throw back farther and I felt much more powerful.
Stephanie and Juan care, are knowledgable, and focus on what’s important. Out of the many CrossFit gyms to choose from, I recommend this one. I know I would love to go back if I visit again from NYC.

I checked out a few boxes around and Crossfit ATP is def the best box around Dania Beach. The first thing I noticed is that the box is clean, coaches are welcoming, and a great community. The programming, warm up/​stretch, and the coaching is what made me come back the next day. The coaches are well experienced and knows their olympic weightlifting and Crossfit movements to prevent you from getting injured in the present and future, and to improve on your technique and strength. I’ve been doing Crossfit regularly and from being here for two drop in, I learned something new. The coaches cares, motivates, and helps each individual. I HIGHLY recommend you to check this box out if your interested in starting Crossfit or drop in. Thank you Crossfit ATP for your hospitality, cues, and a great workout.

I dropped in for a workout yesterday. Great facility, convenient location, very friendly and enthusiastic members, and a very caring, passionate coach. You cannot ask for more than that. Hope to visit again some day.

I dropped in to this box when I was traveling and was expecting a typical WOD. This was far from typical. The owner and coach, Juan, was friendly and asked me how long I had been CrossFitting (at that time it was about 6 months). He asked me to show him a few basic movements so he could be sure I was ready for this particular class. The class I attended was a Kettle bell class. The participants in it had already taken at least 3 hour of kettle bell fundamentals — Juan let me in but told me he would be watching me. Let me tell you that the first 10 minutes felt like a full WOD at my home box. I learned more in that one hour Kettle bell class about using a kettle bell PROPERLY that it changed my entire CrossFit direction. Since then, I’ve become an L1 certified CrossFit instructor and have used many of the techniques I learned in that one hour to help others. Highly recommend this box!

Without question, one of the best Crossfit boxes in South Florida. The owners and staff are absolutely committed to giving you the best, toughest, and *safest* workout that you can get. The gym is one of the most friendly I’ve ever been to. Walking into a crossfit box for the first time is always a little (majorly) intimidating but at Crossfit ATP everyone is so supportive and awesome that you get over it (relatively) soon. There’s just a great sense of community there.
If you’ve never done a crossfit workout, their introductory courses are great. The owners of the box run the introductory courses, so you’re with someone who’s very experienced
There is nothing like their kettlebell classes, which they offer on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Because kettlebells can screw up your everything if you do them wrong — and so many people do them wrong — the box offers a three hour introductory course just to make sure that you know all your moves. That way when you’re working your ass off in the class you’re not actually breaking your ass (or back) at the same time.
They also have crossfit classes for kids a few times a week, which is one of the cutest things (in a badass way of course) things I’ve seen in forever.
Anyway, If you’re looking for a great workout at a great crossfit affiliate in South Florida, give these guys a call. They’ll take your body and your workout to a whole new level and you’ll actually have a gruelingly good time as you do it.

Crossfit ATP is a great crossfit affiliate gym. The team that runs it is so passionate and committed and it continually evolves to keep the members challenged. I love the variety, the camaraderie, the tough workouts — and they are always tough. If you are already doing crossfit and are looking for another gym to workout in, I definitely suggest you give CrossFitATP a try. If you are looking to take your workout and fitness level to a new level and have a ton of fun, Crossfit ATP is the place.

You ever wake up the next day feeling really good about having your ass physically whooped the previous day? I didn’t think this was possible until I started my Kettle Bell classes last night at ATP, with a world certified RKC instructor. Crossfit ATP is a no nonsense, yes you can, bootcamp style training facility that helps you reach your goals and reminds you that no one can do it for you, anything is possible and your goals are achievable if you put the work into them. I agree with Umberto W., ‘f you’re a Golds/LAFitness/24Hour/Bally’s member, you’re wasting time and money on worthless machines and free weights’. I’m looking forward to my next class next week. Unfortunately, I can only attend once a week for now, but at least i’m doing it! R U?

CrossFit ATP, a little rough around the edges but warm and comforting when you need it.
The staff here is nice. And I say this as I work on hiding my «I’m deathly afraid» face but to no avail– they see right through it and thus try their hardest to make that awful «oh man, what am I getting myself into» feeling disappear into the abyss. I must admit, it’s hard not to walk in and want to walk right back out. I mean, this is hardcore but I guess chances are if you’ve signed up for CrossFit, you know what you’re getting yourself into. If somehow it was done on a whim and you’re completely clueless (like myself), I’m sorry for you but given time, you might find it to be the best option (wait until after the workout to make any decisions).
Here’s my warning: While this may resemble a gigantic playground for adults, don’t be fooled. It’s an intense workout not meant for the weak — mentally or physically. You need to be motivated and willing to torture yourself every class. If you’re used to the standard method of training, then this will throw your world in a whirl with its circuit-​based challenges.
The venue itself is located on the corner of US1, not too far from the Aventura area, which is cool. The space seems to be kind of small but since everyone will be on different phases of the workout, it doesn’t become an issue so much.
Come often enough and from what I can tell, it ends up being a community rather than just «a place to sweat». Yeah, that’s cool. But I can’t help but wonder if I can have that «community» feeling with something like yoga instead (you know, where I don’t have to die repeatedly?). Yeah, yeah. I’m done complaining.
Here are my quick take-​aways —
Yes, it gives you a complete workout in half the time.
Yes, it’s challenging.
Yes, it’s for women also (true story, bro).
Yes, you will want to die — before, during and after. O_​o
Yes, you may get injured (which can be minimized by proper form).
Yes, you will feel great (post-​workout death).
I personally, can’t see myself doing CrossFit three or four times a week — just too intense for my liking but it is a great option for those who can maintain such a high intensity workout without injuries. I’ll probably just go every once in a while aka when I need to shake things up a bit or when I feel the desire to REALLY kick things into high gear.

If you’re a Golds/LAFitness/24Hour/Bally’s member, you’re wasting time and money on worthless machines and free weights you have to stand in line to use. Crossfit gives you a complete workout that will be the hardest thing you’ve ever done — until your next workout!
Crossfit ATP is the best «box» because of Juan and Christine though having A/​C comes in a close third!

I can’t say enough about Crossfit ATP. Across the board, Crossfit ATP provides it all — friendly, motivating, well-​trained instructors; members that both motivate and challenge you in a positive way and an intense workout like no other. I just recently started Crossfit and am hooked! I’ve been working out since I was a teenager (weights, spinning, running, yoga, etc) and have never experienced anything like Crossfit (or the community at Crossfit ATP)
