My friend’s co-worker recommended this as a peaceful place to go for lunch walks, so we decided to check it out during a really nice Sunday. The place was(sadly) deserted. I don’t know why more people weren’t taking advantage of the neat trail. First off– I saw a bunny! Yeah, I’m way too excited about that! But, right as we entered the shaded part of the trail(the trees and bushes are so thick that it feels like you are walking through a tunnel most of the way) there was a cute bunny who quickly scurried into the overgrown maze of bushes. Interestingly, he was there again as we exited. Maybe he’s working on commission to wow new visitors! The path is nice. Very narrow and you have to walk over planks to avoid the mud in some areas. You can hear tons of animals and birds, but the only critter we saw was the aforementioned bunny. It leads to a large field, and then that’s it. A nice, short walk. I wish it had gone on forever. Dog owners(and everyone really) be aware that there are tons of ticks. Our dog picked up 6, and we give her tick medicine. We made sure to check her, and our own clothes/bodies before leaving. Seems like a cool, hidden gem!
