Bianca did an amazing job on my hair. The salon is clean, the people are nice and Bianca gave me the best haircut and style I’ve had in years… this place is great.

I love this place. I have been going here since they opened. The owners, George and Donna, and the staff are super personable and very helpful and it’s a very fun, laid back atmosphere. I always have a great experience when going here and look forward to my next haircut!!! A+ in my book!!!

Konrad gave me an amazing pixie cut! My hair was so damaged and he took his time with me and made me feel so comfortable and at ease while he was cutting my hair. He took his time and did an amazing job. I am getting so many compliments on my hair! I have definitely found my new stylist and I couldn’t be more thrilled!

This is a city style salon hidden in suburbia! The stylists know their stuff and take their time. Everyone at work promised they are the best… they were right! Thank you!

Every time I come here to get my hair done, I am very happy with the results. I have had three different stylists and I loved them all. Whenever I am here, everyone is happy with thw results, too! Fun, professional environment, couldn’t ask for better.

I don’t have too much to add to Simone’s review, as my experience was pretty similar. The main difference is that I didn’t actually hang around to get a haircut. I had a new appointment setup with Donna — who I was told was on break when I got there. At my appointment time, someone — not Donna — came over to wash my hair before the stylist even had a chance to look at my hair type and wave. Every person’s hair and curl is different — so looking at my hair before you wash it — is a minimum. So I asked the woman if I could actually meet Donna before my hair was washed. They then left me sitting in a chair for over 10 minutes(I guess her break ran into my appointment time). I saw a couple of bad haircuts checking out — and made a run for it. If you are that unprofessional and don’t take yourself seriously, then neither will I.

Well, my wife called and complained to the owner. He told her to come in for a consultation. When she came home, she told me that she would have to wait six weeks until he could fix it. I am a life long barber user, and never heard of such a thing. If I am unhappy with my haircut, my barber fixes it right away. That costs me a whopping ten bucks. I will tell everybody I know to STAY far away from this place. This place is too expensive without the service.

I’ve been going here for awhile as a transplant from just about every overpriced salon in Boston, some on Newbury Street(what a mistake — the location and cost seriously DOESNOT mean you will end up looking like a million bucks!)… Konrad has completely revitalized my hair. It was over processed and not looking so hot when I arrived at his chair a couple of years ago. He worked his magic and gradually brought my hair back to a healthy state. Oh and his blowouts are excellent — I can typically do a better job blowing out my own hair than most stylists, but he makes me feel like a movie star. He’s also one of the nicest people that has ever worked on my hair! I saw a review on here saying the stylists looked trashy and were unattentive, I’ve been here a lot and think they keep up with current trends — some less than fabulous, but they’re not unlike anywhere I’ve been in Boston. Everyone has always been attentive and gracious. Granted, if you’re getting a brow wax or any wax for that matter, it’s not by appointment, it’s walk in only so maybe there was some confusion. Stylists have always asked me if they can get me water or coffee, or even order me a sandwich from next door. I think that reviewer was correct in saying that maybe they were having an «off» day, or perhaps just an «off» moment. I’m always there on busy Saturdays and am super picky and I’ve never experienced anything like that review. I give 4 out of 5 stars because of the Salon products offered for sale. Maybe they still carry Paul Mitchell because they love it, or because it’s on the more affordable end? I dunno… but they do have Pureology and Moroccan Oil to name a few, which are better. I guess I’ve just always gone into a salon hoping that they’d carry something new and exciting that I haven’t tried and trashed yet(wish they carried Oribe or something of the sort!).

I’m suprised by the other positive reviews on the site… I couldn’t disagree with them more… however, it may have just been a bad day for them. It was not a very friendly environment and the stylists looked umm… trashy for lack of a better word. Almost all of their hair/outfits looked straight out of Jersey Shore. The color came out so-so, the cut and blowdry were unbelievably fast(which was appreciated at first), but honestly, I could have done a better blowdry myself. During my coloring, two stylists were having an actual argument about«who was a bigger ho.» I’m not joking… the other thing was that a group of three stylists were washing eachothers hair and blowdrying/styling it at the same time they were working on their clients. They would have soaking wet hair, dripping on the floor and whenever they had a free few minutes, went back to blowdrying. They seem to get along well, which is good, but not when it comes at the price of ignoring customers and being totally unprofessional. One last incident was when a woman was looking to get her eyebrows done… she had been waiting and when they finally escorted her to a chair, no one came over to her for quite a while… she looked around and asked if someone would be able to wax her and some employee folding towels about 2 feet away answered her by saying«Well, I’m sort of busy but since no one else is back here, I guess I’ll do it.» My stylist was rude, provided almost no consultation, and barely spoke two words throughout the whole thing… it was weird. Overall, the color was decent, the cut was decent, the look of the salon was clean… but the experience was bad, unprofessional and quite fraknly, bizarre. I may just be a hair snob, but I am NOT going back. A friend of mine had gone a few weeks prior and had a very similar experience

Today I had my first appointment with Dimitrios. He was very professional and took time to ask about my hair and what I wanted. I colored my hair in March to look like it faded from dark roots to light ends at a different salon. I decided I wanted to go light all around. He foiled my hair on the roots to perfectly match the color at the ends of my hair. He foiled incredibly fast and gave me a fresh new healthy cut. He was very friendly and he explained why he was doing what he was doing to my hair. He explained himself as an artist looking at how to finish his masterpiece and he perfected it! The whole salon was upbeat and friendly. I can’t wait to go back!

Love this salon. It is easy to get to and the staff is extremely friendly with clients and each other. I have been to salons in the past where it was just about the salon not the clients — not so here. I’m happy to finally find a great salon that has top stylists available to me. I was also happily surprised by the 20% off for new clients. I have already been back!
