While I LOVE their country-fried steak, I try to stay away from the vegetables at all costs. They taste canned, are over-boiled, and frankly it’s hard to tell the peas from the carrots. Customer service IS good though, and it’s a quirky, neat place to eat and shop.

Cracker Barrel has a charm that many other chain restaurants lack. The wood exterior and long porch filled with rocking chairs makes for a welcome entrance. We hit this one up in Danville for breakfast and found that while it was very busy, we were promptly seated and received friendly service. It is a wide menu of classic stick to your rib dishes. It was a great place for a family breakfast(or any meal).

Great service on a Sunday morning for a late breakfast and they were packed. The food came out quickly and everything was excellent and cooked just the way it was supposed to be. No complaints!

It is an excellent example of a Cracker Barrel. Friendly staff, food served quickly, customer service is a high priority for them.
