Wow service is lousy the girl cashier jiggles the tip jar throws my food on the counter and is not polite. Not to mention when I got home the lettuce was brown and a fly was in it !!! Yuck disgusting

Really good food but consistently lazy service. I had to ask the cashier twice to clean off a table for us(there was not a single clean table in the empty restaurant when we walked in). Her version of cleaning the table was removing the visible debris. 5 full minutes later she had disappeared to do other things and I had to hunt her down again to have the table wiped down. 2 minutes later, she handed me a rag so I could wipe it myself(picture attached). Total fail.

Love this place especially for a quick meal! They are so quick with orders and if you’re in a rush you can call your order in! Food is great and always consistent!

Decided to give this place a try but I was skeptical because of where this place is located. It’s Danville so you know you’re gonna be surrounded by privileged self-entitled snobs, but I digress. The food is good and the employees were friendly, especially the pretty little caramel colored Latina that was working the register. She was fast and friendly. That girl deserves a raise for having to deal with some of the people that were going in there that day. I don’t think I’ll be going in there again anytime soon since I don’t live anywhere close by(I stopped by on my way to Fremont) but my experience when I was there was definitely 5 stars.

I come here all the time, not because of food is good but the conveyance. I have to say every time I come here the woman behind the cash register seemed pissed. Like I’m asking for her personal stash of salsa! With the amount they charge for their food they should have more than enough salsa to give as a customer needs. I’ll say it again customer service in a digital age is key and I think you just lost a customer over a little salsa. Just bad business shortie

We came here for breakfast burrito, it’s not bad and the price is fair. The place wasn’t crowded at all around 11am. We will definitely come back again.

I decided to re-visit this place recently and am much happier with the taste and quality! I’ve been here twice in the last couple months and have had good, consistent experiences. I usually get a chicken/steak burrito to go from here. I like how they melt the cheese on the tortilla before adding the other ingredients. I also appreciate that they have bio-degradable utensils.

Chipotle is old news. High Tech is where it’s at. Baja Fresh? Pft. They have various burrito combinations and I’ve tried most of them already. I highly recommend the Cajun and the Thai Peanut ones. Yum. My last burrito was overstuffed so it actually started spilling. –1 star for that, hopefully the management reads this and teaches the cooks better. But still, 4 solid stars for taste alone.

This location used to be pretty good. I always get the bean and cheese burrito. It’s a pretty hard recipe to screw up I would think. After a while I noticed the cheese started getting a little sparse. I started ordering extra cheese thinking it was just me. However it seems that whenever I order extra I get none. Either their system has a glitch or someone doesn’t speak enough English to recognize the word«extra». I even reported it to who I believe was the manager. My order that day had no cheese. I’m sorry, but what the hell? Last time it came out ok but about halfway through I got a bite that tasted like a cigarette butt. Not that I’ve ever tasted one but that’s what came to mind. This time was the last straw. As usual barely any cheese when I asked for extra, and I had to spit out multiple grains of rice and beans because they were crunchy — as in not cooked crunchy. I’m done with this location.

I was excited to eat here. I love a good burrito but I was ultimately disappointed. My burrito was cold. Like from the fridge cold. It wasn’t supposed to be cold, it was lukewarm on the edges. The steak was stringy and felt more like ground beef.

High Tech used to be our go to Mexican fast food before Chipotle came into our lives. Honestly, still prefer the food here to Chipotle because it tastes a little more authentic to me. However it is pricier and appears less healthy so I don’t come here as often as I would like to.

It was good but super generic. Definitely not the best burrito in town. Still pretty good though.

High Tech Burrito has been the ultimate comfort food for me my entire life. All I have ever ordered since I was probably about 8 years old is the Bean and Cheese burrito and I don’t know what it is, but something about it never fails to put me in a good mood. There is a perfect bean to cheese ratio(important) and the cheese is the perfect amount of melty, gooey goodness. It would probably be my «last meal» choice(seriously). I would have them cater my wedding if I could(sort of seriously). I even took a burrito on a plane with me back to college once so I could eat it for dinner. In my mind(and heart) no quick burrito place will ever be as good as High Tech Burrito.

People are too hard on this place lol. I like it and I’m a huge traditional Mexican food fan. Its not authentic but its not Chipotle. They are very hard working and nice here but they do seem to forget something on my burrito each time I come in. Last night it was the salsa. I hope it doesn’t happen again. The service is always super quick and the portions are nicely sized. My boyfriend loves the steak, I really like the pork. I want to try the shrimp next time. Also they do adjust any burrito to your liking, no questions asked, each time my boyfriend changes his a ton and they don’t seem bothered at all. The prices are sort of high compared to Mexican food my boyfriend and I normally eat, but we still like this place since its local and we will continue to come here.

I love the H.T.B special with chicken and steak I get it every time. I tried to get High Tech Burrito to cater my party because they had mentioned catering before, but when I asked over the phone they denied it. Ugh one more HTB-less party for me :( I really don’t like the time they close it’s SOO early my mother and I went to go get dinner and they were closed but it was only 8:18! I was upset! We had to go to Togo’s but that’s a review for another time. Over all I love High Tech Burrito and come back whenever I have the chance!

We live close. Like walkable close. But we’ve never tried High Tech Burrito before. So yesterday I was heading to Safeway and decided to stop for lunch to check it out. I saw super hungry and Mexican sounded quick and tasty. Mistake. While not busy, it took a long long time for everyone who ordered when I was there to get their food. I waited over 10 minutes after completing and paying for my lunch. I assumed that meant it was going to be good — fresh and made-to-order. I was wrong. I ordered the«surf and turf» bowl which was supposed to be steak and shrimp, rice, black beans, salsa, lettuce, and sour cream. When I got up to get the bowl at first I thought it was the wrong thing. My first impression was that it was a bowl of chilli, followed quickly by the thought that it looks like Alpo dog food. I questioned the cook and he said«yeah, that’s the surf and turf». Well ok then. It did have all those ingredients in the bowl I guess, but it was all stirred up together and looked incredibly unappetizing. Hungry, I was still optimistic that it would be tasty. Wrong again. It didn’t taste much better than it looked. The shrimp seems undercooked and the«steak» was stringy, with fatty bits and small pieces of some kind of beef. I was hungry so I managed to choke down about ½ of the bowl before I gave up and tossed the rest in the trash. Maybe I picked the wrong thing and should have gone for something more basic on the menu. But I doubt I’m going back to give it another chance.

I generally really do like the burritos at Hi Tech. They have a good variety of fusion burritos and bowls and the food is definitely on the healthier side with lots of vegetarian options. This location has a big plus over the location in Alamo as it actually has seating inside. Yay! However, our last order from this place seemed messed up. We never figured out what it was my husband actually ended up with(he ordered the curry vegetarian). It didn’t contain rice which was what he requested but definitely was not a curry burrito. So they got his order half right I guess. They were also very slow with the food. Maybe because we ordered for 4 people? We’ve never had an issue with an order at the Alamo location and we’ve been there many times.

This place has been steadily going downhill for the past six months. It honestly used to be my go to burrito place, but the last several times I’ve ordered from here, they were either out of necessary ingredients like chicken, black beans and rice(this is a burrito place, right?!) or they’ve forgot to include an extra/side of guacamole which was ordered and also paid for. There was a time time place was great as the food was of good quality, they didn’t run out of multiple ingredients at the same time and the staff got orders done correctly. But that’s sadly not the case anymore it seems. In short, looks like it’s time to head over to Chipotle from here on out or find another burrito place.

I came here with my dad to bring dinner home for the family. You receive a fountain drink when you check in to Unilocal! My father had a free burrito he earned by using his points. The only way he could redeem that is if he went back on his texts from weeks later to give the code to the cashier. They can’t look the code up the same way you receive your points– by your phone number. After that, they have to put in the code and the machine takes a whole to profess it. It is a bit ridiculous how the system works for that. I ordered the Godzilla but didn’t find anything too amazing about it. It was a boy soggy. Couldn’t think of anything that stood out from my experience with this restaurant.

So called in an order. Not only do they fail to process it properly, they claim I called the wrong location. Well only if it’s not the number you have on your website… Didn’t ask what I wanted to offer to fix the situation. Supposedly under new management… obviously off to a great start. News flash: your employees are either stoned or incompetent.
