This place is great, I love the juices and smoothies they offer. The bowls are delicious especially their new summer bowls. I’d give it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the constant issues I run into coming here. Issues I’ve come across: I come in often but in the few times I’ve come in lately there have been issues with what they don’t have? I don’t understand how they can be out of things that are clearly stated on the menu… I came in a few weeks ago and the girl told me she was out of granola and said she was unable to get it because she was by herself because her manager slept in… So is the manager always sleeping in and unable to get product? I don’t get it. The girl seemed really stressed out and flustered. Which I found unfair to her. I had got there at 8:30 the first time that day it wasn’t open yet and then left came back at 10 and it was finally opened and the girl was by herself. Since then I’ve come twice and both times they’ve been out of something I’m looking for. The employees always look tired and overworked. Theres two employees I see in particular who are there the most and they work really hard and I really like when either of them make what I order. One is an older gentleman dark hair(well older than HS) and he works fast and efficient and the other is a younger girl who’s probably in college dark brown reddish hair who is also really fast and asks about my daughter which I appreciate. Basically great products — but seems really unorganized.

This is my favorite place to go to if I need something healthy and refreshing. I’ve tried practically every bowl at Nekter, and they’re all great! One bowl is pretty large and usually costs like 8 – 10 dollars so I would definitely suggest splitting it with someone. However, I ordered one of the smoothies(pink flamingo) before, and I was extremely disappointed. If you’re looking for a smoothie, I would suggest you go to Juice Zone. But, overall, the bowls are so delicious and refreshing! I would recommend absolutely all of them!

1 star because, not sure if mistake by Unilocal or just false information on Nekter’s end. Heard good things about their cleanse for a decent price. Drove all the way from Tracy because Unilocal post their hours today open until 7pm. Got there exactly 6:05pm and place is dark(no lights) walked up to door to find out there weren’t even an hour sign or even a sorry note that we’re close. Expect them to be more professional knowing that they are in high end/fancy neighborhood.

We went to Nekter Juice bar for the first time when we were exploring the shopping area. We have never been here before so we were excited to see something that was not the typical Jamba Juice. I had the Tropical Cooler and my husband had the Banana Berry Blast! We both liked our drinks and are excited to try others. The only draw back from me is that I am allergic to strawberries. There were only two choices on the menu that didn’t have strawberries in them! It would be awesome if there was a customer smoothie that you could make or other choices for people who have allergies, something to think about for management. Can’t wait to go back and try a bowl or the juices!

I found pieces of nasty chewed up black plastic in my bowl today which was basically the last straw for me. When I come up to work in the Bay Area for a week or two at a time, I’m here at this location almost every day. I pay no mind to the rude and passive teenage high school girls that work there because there are bigger issues than to Unilocal about that in particular. But really, stay away from any business that consists of high schooler employees. you will get horrible service every time. Their attitudes are always cringeworthy and they can’t help but act bitchy and unprofessional. Today I ordered three bowls and I drove home to give one to my dad. He spit out four pieces of black chewed up plastic. So I called Nektar right away and a girl picked up the phone. I asked her if I could speak to a manager and she replied, «Uh, no. we don’t have a manager today.» So I asked to speak to someone else that could help me and she said, «Uh can we just call you back? we’re kinda busy right now.» I said no and she just kept saying«Um… Ya. Ok.» Whoever I spoke to said that if I came back, they would remake the bowls for me. When I drove back to Nektar, everybody was in the back while I was waiting up at the front for about 10 minutes. A boy comes up to me and I told him that I was just here and there was plastic in my bowl. He interrupted me, laughed, and looked at the other girl and said, «Hey, its the one with the plastic.» The girl laughed. She gave me the refund and never apologized once. As an employee, how is this acceptable?

We just finished shopping and wanted a healthy drink. This place did the trick. We got a 24oz greenie as I asked for the least sweet option. It was good and fresh. Even my 4 and 7 year olds liked it. What threw me off about the place was the plastic fruit decorations. At first I thought they were real but when I realized they were not, it just left me with a weird feeling.

I called up and asked what time they close. They close at 7pm. I drive over which takes about 40 minutes and I get there at 6:50pm and I asks for a juice and they say the juice machine is broken. I ask them why they didn’t tell me that over the phone and they said well… You didn’t say on the phone you wanted juice. Wtf? You guys sell juice. Am I suppose to ask you if your machine is working and if I don’t ask then it’s my fault before drive all the way over there? Next time tell people your juicer is broken on the phone before they waste there time… They lost me as a costumer.

I’ve come to Nekter before to try their juices, but was disappointed with that to begin with. I came back again recently on a bike ride with my sister attempting to give them another try to redeem themselves with their acai bowls. My sister and I both ordered the banana berry bowl. They were decently priced for the size with a good abundance of toppings. The fruits on top were fresh and sweet, but what disappointed me was the smoothie base. I couldn’t taste the acai nor was there any other flavor in the smoothie. It just tasted like watered down acai. The poor quality of the smoothie base will probably keep me from choosing Nekter over any other easily accessible juice shop like Vitality.

I’ve only tried the smoothies out of all the Nekter locations I’ve been to. I finally tried their acai bowls. The Banana Berry and Tropical bowl. Both were served with plenty of granola and enough of their own toppings. They have almost the same topping with just a few minor differences. They staff were very nice, patient and helpful especially with customers that cant make up their minds. This Nekter Juice Bar is perfect location because its next to CRUNCH and the customers come in before or after their workouts.

Good quality and delicious juices as expected from Nektar but suuuuuuper slooooow!!! And they forgot to top my acai banana berry bowl with blueberries… Come with time because they will take FOREVER!

This place is slow as hell. No nutritional information beyond calories, and expensive for what it is. After my first and last visit I can’t wait for pressed juicery to come to walnut creek and drive this place out. How it’s made it this long with all the Blackhawk crowd is beyond me.

Fortunately for this place, the product is really good. Unfortunately for this place, the employees working here have no brains. Every time I have visited this place I am never ceased to amaze at how much worse customer service can be. The owner or manager should consider hiring for people that actually want to be there rather than whoever is willing to take the job. Every time I have brought my store branded tumblr in to be refilled, they always bring out the plastic cup for which I then have to pour the smoothie into my own cup. Plus, they can never figure out how to take the $ 0.50 off for me using my own cup.

Compared to Jamba Juice, this place is awesome. Similar prices but I think better quality. High focus on veggies, and they have things Jamba doesn’t have. Particularly I like the bowls here, very tasty and taste much fresher than Jamba. Only down side is how long it can take. They typically only have 1 or 2 people making drinks/bowls at any given time. If you hit it at the wrong time, prepare to wait in a slow, long line and wait quite 15 – 20 minutes for your order. I do think the snacks and all are overpriced, but when you read the quality of ingredients, I guess it makes sense.

I was in the area and was craving something sweet. My friend and I decided to try out a new juice place, and this happened to be down the street! It was easy to find parking right in front of the store, as it is in a shopping center. When we walked in, it smelled fresh and peaceful. It wasn’t loud like Janna juice, you could hear the person talking next to you without having to speak over the blending and juicing that was happening. The menu was easy to read ms understand — many options of juices, acai bowls, and smoothies. We decided to go for the pink flamingo smoothie. They were out of dragon fruit so the guy told us we would have to substitute it for acai, which was no problem. We ordered a 24 oz and they gave us a 32 oz ! Overall happy with the visit. Affordable, refreshing juice that is not toooooo sweet, and tastes fresh and light. I liked the fact that it satisfied my craving for something sweet, but at the same time not a sugar overload. –1 star because the guy taking our order did not seem too thrilled to be there, and was annoyed when we asked what pitaya was.(Dragon fruit lol)

Service is terrible. Both employees were rude and unwelcoming. The man who cashiered me was so rude and unfriendly I was kind of amazed. He didn’t make eye contact and didn’t make any note to seek at all friendly. The actual products are good though. I got the Greenie juice and my friend got the Pink Flamingo smoothie. Both were really good and you could taste the foods in it. Really enjoyed the overall aesthetic and atmosphere of the place, despite the super shitty service. Will probably be coming back, but with a bitter seed.

Familiarizing yourself with a new area can be overwhelming. Thankfully during my lunch break I managed to find this familiar chain(first spotted it in SoCal) to finally gave it a whirl. I got their very berry smoothie(I believe that’s what it was called) w/an addition of Peanut Butter. Pretty good for a substitute lunch full of carbs. The best part, it did not make me feel guilty about splurging two days before. Four Stars, for cleanliness and juice offerings. The only thing that took a while is turnover time for finishing my order(almost 10 minutes). A bit frustrating given that I’ve worked in the industry before and you can order, blend, and serve most of this stuff a lot faster.

This juice bar is awesome and very healthy! It’s right next to a gym which is nice. They make fresh juices, smoothies, breakfast bowls and more. I juice at home but it’s always great to have a place to go to when you are too busy to make your own. Love this place. The décor is very nice as well. I paid $ 17 for 32oz of flush toxins juice and vanilla bean protein smoothie. It’s funny how other Unilocalers give 1 star for bland taste or overpowering taste of kale or parsley or slower service! Stop being so demanding. Looks like you have never juiced at home. It takes time to juice all veggies and taste will depend on the veggies. If you are expecting great tasting smoothies go to Jamba Juice and drink 100 g of sugar in one smoothie! Finally a juice bar that’s natural. One thing I would add — ORGANIC. I’m willing to pay more for organic juice vs conventional(full of pesticides and herbicides).

Very tasty and a great pitstop after a workout at Crunch gym! The acai bowls here look amazing and are very reasonably priced. Unfortunately I live in SF so would not be able to come here often, but the bowls would easily be $ 3 – 4 more expensive in SF! I had lunch plans with friends so did not get a bowl during my visit, and got a fresh juice instead for $ 5. They are very open to substitutions(I removed celery from mine because I hate the strong taste and substituted with extra beets) and the facilities are super pristine and clean.

I tried the Berry Banana Acai bowl for the first time today. I was more in the mood for something to eat with a spoon rather than to sip on. Typically I’d go with my usual– the Tropical Cooler. But I saw someone with the bowl and it looked awesome– so I gave it a try. This was no mistake. The Gods had spoken and this is clearly my new, favorite thing to get at Nekter. I was really impressed with how it was constructed and all the ingredients were really fresh. I’ve had Vitality bowls before and NOTHING compares to this. It was well worth the price I paid. It was very filling and you didn’t feel sick afterwards– I’m already craving more down. I uploaded a pic– you can even see the Agave nectar they put on top. So good. Can’t wait to try the other bowls too! The service was also great– I love Nekter and how they greet you when you come in the door. Everyone is so friendly and upbeat at this location. I was looking at some of the cleanses and they even asked if I had any questions. They sampled the peanut butter protein balls– I’ll be getting those next time I stop by! So yummy! So happy to be living the Nekter life. :)

Located near Crunch in Blackhawk Plaza. I was looking for something sweet after lunch. A sign for a Pumpkie Pie smoothie(limited time offer) piqued my interest. I got a 16oz Pumpkin Pie smoothy for about $ 5. It actually tasted like pumpkin pie filling, only it was smooth and flowed like a milk shake. It wasn’t super sweet, and I really enjoyed it. It’s probably not as healthy as those leafy green smoothies but probably tastes a lot better!
