Paul’s Tree Service

Use these guys if you don’t care what happens to the balance of your property, or your neighbor’s property for that matter.
My next door neighbor brought them out to remove a massive pine near our property line. What followed was some of the most careless and unprofessional behavior I have ever encountered. I came home to several large branches ripped off of my 100′ liquidambar adjacent to the property line (obviously from the haphazard dropping of cut branches from the pine), my 12′ bottlebrush tree crushed nearly in half with a huge pine branch still lying on/​in it, and another chunk of a branch that had shattered a nearby potted plant.
My call to Paul’s that evening went unanswered, and my message unreturned.
The following day, they apparently decided to «make things right.» Without ever contacting me, they entered my property without permission, removed the branches they had dropped into my yard, «fixed» the bottlebrush by cutting half of it down, and then removed several years worth of natural mulch I had accumulated in the flower beds in that half of the yard.
Again, calls went unanswered and messages unreturned.
Twenty-​four cubic feet of soil, nine cubic feet of mulch, and several hours of work later, things are mostly back to normal — albeit without the back half of my bottlebrush tree and with several gaping holes in the back side of the liquidambar.
I have used Unilocal for years and never felt compelled to post a review until now. I still have not heard from them, nor do I expect to, and I just couldn’t let this go undocumented.
