No hand quilting supplies at all. Nothing but precut kits. No hand quilting thread. A lot of very expensive sewing machines, but hey that is all right we will finance it for you. plus you can then take classes to learn not to sew or quilt but to use the machine. Not practical, at all. Thumbs down from a lady that has quilted, sewed for over fifty years/

Missy and Bill have an awesome store. Helpful staff eager to help even the beginner like myself. They have a great variety of fabrics, something for everyone. The retreat center is nice, comfy beds, hot showers and a great kitchen set up so you don’t even need to leave unless you want to. There are so many projects and idea books around and the projects the other sewers are working on, the inspiration is endless! The garden is gorgeous complete with a nice gas grill to bbq your meal. If you haven’t stayed over you need to!

While traveling through Illinois my husband and I stopped at this wonderful shop. We were made to feel welcome the minute we entered the door. Not only did they have an extensive inventory of fabric, notions, patterns and threads. But the first thing the owner did was offer my husband coffee and fresh baked cookies. My sister and I went on the East Central Illinois Shop Hop and found this gem. We found a large, varied selection of fabric and quilt displays throughout the store. They do carry sewing machines but we really did not check these out. You can also take a tour of their retreat area. Retreat area really looks nice. The picture of the barbecue area really does not do it justice. Looks like a great place to check out if you like retreats. Since being there, I have used their website to continue to purchase material from them. This gem is worth checking out!
