Bay House Pub

I wouldn’t recommend going here unless you are a regular. My husband and I walked in intending to get a drink and sandwich. We waited 15 minutes and were not acknowledged by anyone that worked there. We left and took our business to another local establishment.

I’ve been to bay house many times, but have never had a reason to write a review. It is a normal dive bar (the kind that I like) with some fun extras like bands and karaōke that go on on the weekends.
I wanted to say that I stopped in there and ordered a SANDWICH and it way great. They have never had food before, but now they do. It is on Thursday — Saturday according to the sign.
My sandwich — the Mob Boss — Pepperoni, bacon, Salami, peppers, onions, spinach. I don’t know how they cooked it exactly, but it said steamed. The roll was definitely steamed, but the meats were not cooked to the point of being greasy (I hate cooked salami/​pepperoni for that reason). Anyway, it tasted really good and quite different than something that you will find at a chain sandwich shop.
I’m looking forward to stopping in for another beer and a different sandwich/​burger. Two thumbs up.

Most definitely is a dive bar but the people are great and the bar tenders take great care of you. They make a point of getting your name and making sure that you always have a full drink in front of you. It is pretty smokey inside but that comes with the territory and for non smokers they have a patio out front overlooking the bay. A great place to go to just relax or play some pool.

This is a dive bar that hasn’t changed probably since it was opened. Usually I love a good dive bar but the volume of smoke in here is just overwhelming and I can’t handle it. Just a few people smoking quickly hazes this place up to the point I can’t tolerate it. If it wasn’t for the smoke this place would be at least a 3 star joint.

Free crawfish on Wednesdays starting around 6 (brought in from Mudbugs).
