Hilton Garden Inn Mobile-Daphne

This place just continues to impress me with great and friendly service. Rooms always good, cold beers in lobby, good price and always a welcoming greeting when entering the building. Hot to order breakfast is also a plus without having to leave your room or the hotel

Affordable, clean, incredible staff across the board. I’ve intentionally made this my second home when in the Bay Area. I’ve met many members of the staff, and I actually like them all. Whoever is hiring these people should probably keep their job. From bartenders to cleaning crew, I trust and value this hotel experience from the moment i walk in.

After a long drive that day with two stops on a book tour, this hotel, just outside of Mobile was the perfect stop for the night. The front desk crew were friendly, considerate and very helpful with questions. The room was top notch and worth much more than what it was priced for. The shower had a strong stream and the bed was solid. Will happily stay here again.

This hotel experienced a major power outage in the area the morning we were checking out. We were not inconvenienced very much because we had some power in the room and the air conditioning in our room was still working. The hotel obviously has a backup generator adequate to keep some lights on. The most impressive thing about this was the staff these people really pitched in to try to make their guests comfortable. They offered free breakfast to compensate for the inconvenience there was no air conditioning down in the lobby or in the kitchen and these guys were cooking over a gas stove with no air conditioning and no fans. This hotel is very well run and staffed with some really motivated people who kept smiling while they worked to keep their guests comfortable. Did they have that many plastic forks and plates on hand???

My husband stays at Hilton Garden Inn in Daphne a lot for work & every once in a while I also accompany him. I am glad to know how nice this hotel is where he has to stay often. This Hilton is always very clean & the workers are extremely friendly & helpful. The breakfast here is delicious.

So, I booked this hotel when we were trying to get to Mobile to look at apartments. A job transfer has us coming from Atlanta and neither of us had ever been, so we figured we had better scope out the city for a weekend. I was confused as to why hotels were so expensive/​in such limited quantity until I was informed by a fellow Unilocaler that it was the big Mardi Gras celebration weekend!
Luckily, we were able to get this room in Daphne, just a quick drive across the bay from Mobile. We arrived late Friday night (²⁄₂₈) and asked to check in. There were several confusing moments before the attendant realized that someone had been checked in under our reservation and our room given away. I began to panic a little as I knew all the hotels in the area were booked up. Everything took a turn for the better once she told us, «no worries, I have another room for you, same rate, etc, and I’m going to throw in free breakfast for both mornings for your trouble.»
This is an example of how a potentially bad situation could’ve escalated into angry customers, but quick thinking and a small gesture saying, «we messed up,» saved the day. We ended up with a quiet 5^th floor room away from all the Mardi Gras revelers (as she sweetly asked if we were there for the celebration and we let her know we were pretty much there on business)!
I wish I could remember her name because she definitely deserves recognition.
Other than that, this is a lovely HGI. We like to stay in them whenever possible, and this one did not disappoint. It was clean and in good repair. The location is excellent in relation to the highway and shopping. Also, I was cold at night and they brought me an extra blanket upon request. I very much appreciate the excellent customer service we received and I love being an HHonors member! Thanks HGI Daphne!

Great rooms, friendly staff but if you are not familiar with the areA a little difficult to get to on access road.
Rooms were clean and spacious, soft fluffy towels and a nice indoor heated pool, spa and workout room!
Staff at the desk and café were 5*! Free cooked to order hot breakfast is a great way to start your morning. Very convenient to Restaurants, Shopping etc.

I’ll admit up front that my review will be biased. I had 2 of the best nights ever at this hotel in Daphne and my life will forever be tainted by the fun.
But the front desk staff was great. My room was super clean. The bartender — Amanda — was awesome. And, like I said, I had the time of my life in Daphne, AL, so this HGI will forever hold a sweet spot in my heart.
Sweetening the deal… there’s a Starbucks right next to the hotel. Score.
