Due to a change in our insurance provider, we had to find a new doctor for our kids because Loyola doctors are not in the specific HMO network that my husband’s employer selected. We have been using another practice for nearly a year and it doesn’t even compare to Dr. Ozark! As soon as we can switch our insurance, we’ll be paying extra to have PPO so we can go back to Dr. Ozark. He’s pretty much as good as it gets for pediatricians, and since he’s Med-Peds, I’ll be going to him for my own health needs as well.

I had my kid at Town & Country Pediatrics( ) but I’m pleased to say that now we’re sticking with Dr. Ozark who made such a good first impression. Here’s just ONE example: When I told him about how the kid has frequent nose bleeds, he sat down at the computer and started to ask me a series of questions having to do with my pregnancy, any complications, MY health during, the birth, whether or not the kid had any problems during or after pregnancy, whether he bruises easily or not… MAN! He asked a lot of questions in response to my ONE question… THEN(AFTER actually trying to understand it all) he said it was fine… All other doctors just immediately waved my question off with something like, «Eh it’s normal – »(scribbled out a prescription) «here, give him this(hard to pronounce prescription)» I think that explains it =)
