There’s a reason why Swimm is not a BBB accredited company! Check it out yourself! I used them for 3 years only because my house was under contract with them before I bought it. They were very expensive but I went with them because I figured they’d do a great job. In fact, the owner of the company(Mark Swimm) used to live in my house and he put the pool in for himself. But trust me, this didn’t make a difference. Unfortunately I had issues from day 1 of my first summer, but I «stuck it out» for a few years to give them a shot. I have had headache after headache the last 3 summers. Multiple issues with cleanings, incorrect openings, questionable damage to equipment, and overall lack of communication. I went directly to Mark a few times hoping for some priority treatment, given it was HIS old pool he built. I found him to be very arrogant and really didn’t care about the customer at all. Very surprising. What’s not surprising is that when an organization is run like that from the top down, there will be issues. The only good guy over there is a tech named Micky. This spring I finally decided to look elsewhere. I had 3 different companies come give me annual quotes that were 15−20% cheaper($ 3100 – 3200 vs $ 3700). And surprise surprise, 2 of them found HORRIBLE work left behind by the supposed winterizing process Swimm claimed they did for me last fall. They did not take care of my equipment at ALL. They left water in the filter, electrical wires exposed, and the water level of the pool itself was too high and I had ice damage to tiles(cost me $ 1000 to fix). It’s almost like they want equipment to break so they can get you to buy new stuff and mark it up. I politely contacted Mark to ask if they can help cover damage expenses — I was blamed and basically ignored thereafter. Bottom line: AVOIDSWIMMPOOLSATALLCOSTS.
