The bad thing about being in a small town where there is very little competition is that people do not try to be helpful at all. That’s what happens here. The only thing worse than being sick is going to a pharmacy you have been using for two years and being treated like a total stranger by the same people you see every time you go there. I have tried the drive-thru as well as the pharmacy counter. It makes NO difference. While I am certain the pharmacists working here are tops in their pharmaceutical knowledge and that they read their PDRs every night before bed, they suck at customer service. Prescriptions that are promised at a specific time, they are almost never ready and require a 20 — 30 minute wait. Often, a REFILL is not entered correctly and is denied by your insurance. Then magically after they call or attempt to enter it again, it is approved and you can wait about 40 minutes, you can get your medication. The people at the front register are usually very cordial and helpful, that is one good thing about the place but once you go to the pharmacy in the back, customer service disappears and you are just a number. Based on the wait, that number is somewhere around 1,042.
