We had a cake from here before and I did not like it one bit. It was so beyond sweet I just couldn’t get past one bite. I have as of lately been dying to try French macarons and I bought 4 and one mini tiramisu for my husband and it was $ 15.00. I got a raspberry, lemon, cotton candy, and passion fruit macaron to try. They were okay; the cotton candy one however was fantastic! My husband eats anything and tiramisu is his favorite and he didn’t care for this one. He said there was a ganache type filling in the middle and it was just way to sweet for him to eat.

I met the owner Tammy not too long ago after realizing we were both in industries related to weddings, and operating our businesses in the very same town. With her being a pastry artist and myself being a florist, we have since referred business to one another. Tammy is a true professional and her wedding cakes are absolutely gorgeous! Her pastries are fabulous as well! I would highly recommend her to any of my brides, family or friends.

I’m still on the hunt for a cupcake joint that consistently delivers all around fantastic, moist cupcakes with delicious flavor. This place has potential but doesn’t do it. Like Georgetown Cupcake, they have cupcakes that are out of this world and some that are either dry or flavorless. The Pink Box Signature is a strawberry confection that’s hot pink all around with glitter on it — basically if you’re throwing a slumber party for 5 year olds who love Barbies, this should be your go to. I’ve had this cupcake twice and it delivered on a nice cakey texture and flavor and the buttercream is soft and airy. Yum. Tried the piña colada(or whatever the blue cupcake was) at a party and it was practically flavorless and very very dry. No bueno, pina. Macarons are ok — not the best I’ve had but not a bad option(it might be the only option in this town). Perhaps a bit too much filling, but the crust was flaky and chewy. The macaron size itself is bigger than normal French macarons. The pistachio and lavender were good options. Friendly staff. Go for the signature cupcake.

Got some desserts for over the holidays and every guest just raved over all the items. All the hours I spent on cooking and all that everyone kept talking about was the Pink Box Desserts. Highly Recommended!

I used Pink Box for my wedding cake. Worst mistake ever, everything was perfect for my day except my cake. The external sugar flowers were the wrong color, to which I was later told that was their plum(which was not even close). I had also requested a special tiramisu cake, which I know had restrictions on what they could produce. What I got, however, was a plain cake with plain frosting, or what tasted plain. There was no coffee flavor at all in the cake. I had stopped by to speak with the woman who handled my order. She informed me that my contract was at home and she would have to look. She also asked me if I brought in a fabric swatch and if I had a copy of the contract. I was never asked for a fabric swatch when we made the order(6 months prior to the wedding) and never received a copy of the contract. She told me she would get back to me upon looking at the contract, which she never did. I paid over $ 600 for my cake, and the moment I cut into it felt such fury that the moment was ruined for me, which can never be replaced.

I was excited by the reviews and raves from friends, alas I was sorely disappointed with the macarons as well as the tiramisu. The macarons were overpriced and tasted of chemicals. The tiramisu was bland and lacked punch(booze) When the Olive Garden makes better tiramisu than you, you need a reboot on your recipes

A little pricey, but worth it. I’ve been a few times and their pastries are fresh and well displayed. They have a variety of things to choose from and offer different cupcakes each day of the week. The tiramisu is my favorite but everything is delicious. It’s a little small inside so crowded when busy but a cute little place and friendly staff. I’ve seen the photos of some of their cakes and they look amazing — I’ll probably be willing to pay the price for my daughter’s first birthday.

I visited PinkBox for the first time last Friday, after reading a review on New England Bites and believe me, I wasn’t disappointed! I wanted to buy one of each item in the bakery, but showed a little restraint and bought a few of the macaroon’s and a black and white cookie, although theirs was a little different with pink and white frosting. It was the best black and white cookie I’d ever tasted. The macaroons were fantastic. I was told they were best at room temperature, and 3 out of the 4 made it home and were actually eaten at room temperature. The vanilla one, however, didn’t even make it around the corner to Kohl’s and it was awesome. Can’t even imagine it being any better, but I’ll be going back for more and will find out! The customer service was the absolute best. That is always number one with me and the girl who waited on me was great. Looking forward to future visits!

February 14, 2014 A while back, Mom and I went to a pastry shop in Medford called Danish Pastry House and had our very first French macaroon. Now if you don’t know, French macaroons are different than«American» style macaroons because they are not made of coconut. Instead, they are delicious little bite-sized cookies that have a cotton candy-like stickiness and are soft with a crispy exterior. In the center is a strip of filling and they sort of resemble tiny whoopie pies, but come in a rainbow of different colors. We never thought we’d be able to get these to-die-for treats around this area … … until Pink Box Desserts showed up. We noticed Pink Box hidden away in a small plaza in Dartmouth a few months ago. Mom and I vowed to stop in one day and fill up on goodies, but after some online research, decided to hold off a bit due to the prices. We Fall River gals are used to the mom and pop bakeries where you can walk out with two boxes filled with pastries for only $ 7. At Pink Box, a 14″ cake is over $ 100. It’s that kind of place. To me, this could mean one of two things: The desserts are out of this world or completely overpriced. I decided to check them out on — of all days — Valentine’s Day. I was dying for a macaroon and so was Mom, but when I walked into Pink Box the line was almost out the door. Annoyed(as always when I have to wait), I got in line and tried to see what was in the bakery cases, but couldn’t due to the crowd. All I got was a picture of the macaroons in their refrigerated case. When it was my turn to be served, I chose four macaroons: green tea, honey lavender, salted caramel and crème brulee. The girl behind the counter had to go in the back to retrieve the green tea macaroon because it was still frozen. She warned me not to eat it right away, and according to the website, the macaroons are best eaten at room temperature. My total came to $ 10.62 for four cookies. We’re not used to spending that much on so little, so Mom and I were hoping that they were worth it. When I got them home, the cookies were thawed and ready to be devoured. We first tried the honey lavender. This was — hands down — one of the best desserts I’d ever eaten. EVER. I hesitated trying the other macaroons because I didn’t want to taint my palate with another flavor. It was basically perfume for your mouth. The cookie was lavender with a honey center. I can’t say enough about how good this was. The other flavors — salted caramel, crème brulee and green tea — tasted exactly like they were supposed to. You would be able to tell what you were eating without even looking at the color or the cookie. The green tea had that tea bitterness yet was so tasty in macaroon form; the salted caramel had tiny bits of salt on top and a thick layer of gooey caramel in the center; and the crème brulee was a shocking bite of sweetness. The macaroons at Pink Box were better — and bigger — than the ones we died over at the Danish Pastry House. Pink Box Desserts has a lot of different delectables to choose from. Although we only tried the macaroons, the eclairs, cupcakes and other goodies looked amazing. I will absolutely be back to Pink Box, although Mom and I joked that it should be called«White Bag» because that’s what my macaroons were housed in.(But I did see lots of pink boxes going by.) Bring your wallet and your taste buds because you’ll need both. You will not be disappointed. Visit for more tasty reviews from Southern New England!

I just visited Pink Box for the first time, and presently, I am enjoying the small tiramisu that I purchased there for $ 3.75. It tastes just delicious. Pink Box has a variety of desserts for sale, all homemade. some of which are cookies, brownies, blondies, cannoli, cupcakes in a variety of flavors, mini versions of crème filled lobster tails, and of course, the tiramisu which I purchased. If you go into a place like this, you can expect to pay more than you could make them for at home, but it’s worth it when it tastes this good.
