Abernathy’s

I’ve been in the QC 4 years because of college and a year outside of that bubble has given me the cajones to finally explore small businesses in the area. Abernathy’s was on my hit list, pew pew!
The store upon entering overstimulated my visuals because I didn’t even know where to start, should I go left to see the jewelry or go right to see the clothes?! I decided upon a spiral, first along the edges of the business and getting closer to the middle.
There were clothes, artwork, jewelry, shoes, bags, sunglasses, hats, headbands, dolls, I mean I could go on, but you must go in! My favorite part was the lingerie section o la la ;)
Nicole was helpful though I was an awkward jellybean, yes I mentally called myself this. She even sold me a necklace that she made for herself and then went ahead to adjust it.
I left satisfied and with the hopes of possibly returning with ideas for a custom piece. Thank you Abernathy’s and I will come again only not as an awkward jellybean.

cutest little vintage store in Davenport, Iowa! a good selection of amazing vintage dresses (that you can get for a steal at $ 15-​$ 40!!) take note Vancouver. A great selection of local/​handmade jewelry from local artists as well. The staff working here are exceptionally pleasant as well!
