Tasty basic beef tacos, a delicious spinach(who knew?) burrito and a spotlessly clean restaurant including restrooms. The guacamole was nice and fresh with a lovely lime flavor, though could have used more cilantro and onion for our preference. Lunch on a Saturday was quick but not rushed, with super friendly staff. We shall be back!

Azteca 4 lured me in with a coupon of buy one meal get one free. When i tried to use it the cashier made excuse after excuse why they wouldnt honor it. Guess what azteca 4, that is called fraud. Not only did you loose customers by doing that but when you print out coupons with no intention of honoring it thats illegal.

I had the new Montezuma molcajete and it was incredible! Don’t let the price and the picture on the menu fool you. It was MASSIVE and well worth the money. Two very hungry people could easily split it and walk away stuffed. Ended up taking two thirds of it home and finishing it a couple hours later. My friend ordered shrimp fajitas and they were okay but the flavor of the molcajete was so good she ended up digging into my food. The margaritas are potent and tasty. The service was great. Highly recommend it.

Very friendly service. Extensive drink knowledge. Drinks have lots of alcohol in them. Best Mexican food in town. Very large menu. Great customer service. Always get our order correct when we make changes. Always go above and beyond! Restroom was very clean. Wait staff very attentive and friendly. Plates are full and very filling. Lunch prices are very fair for the amount of good food you get.

The prices were fair. The service was decent. The vegetarian chilaquiles were awesome! My dish was loaded with veggies and flavor. I love it when I can get a vegetarian meal that consists of more than just rice and beans.

We thought this place would be good since the parking lot is almost always packed at dinner time. We were there on a Friday nite around 7pm. The place was packed and we sat in the back near the karaōke. Big mistake. Everyone was so rowdy in that area. Alot of kids and alcohol drinkers. Very noisy and not many of them could actually sing, so the karaōke was not enjoyed like we thought we might. We could not hear ourselves think. The food was… food. Not great, not terrible, but it was pricey for not great food. The service was fine, a bit slow since it was so busy. Doubt if we will return.

Been going here for yrs. since they bought it. I always have enjoyed their food, yet now after the scandal service really seems to have declined along with people going. We were surprised to see a Sat. night, the place almost empty… strange. Chips and salsa, empty, never came by & refilled, had to get up AGAIN& go ask for it from another waitress! This is BS. Our waiter, very, very rude and not attentive to us. Also he refused to honor my order(I have to eat tiny portions due to my stomach size & I have always ordered a kids meal, which I can’t even finish), Refused to let me order it? Major strike, considering I have always had no problem except for one waiter, some kid with a Mohawk, he charged me a dollar extra for it! We never had our drinks refilled the whole dinner, he got one order wrong, and never came back to the table, also forgot the tortillas. I had to leave the table go to another waitress and ask for the tortillas! They can’t seem to keep help @ the register except for one of the family members who works there and also up the street @ the other location. Constantly new girls @ the register… hmmmm. So my weekly visits, have basically stopped. I might try them again, but something is off in this place now.

nothing really memorable. had some drinks and some tacos with my friend and her friends since im not from this area. the drinks were ok but our service was great. the waiters were really nice & had us tryin different types of drinks. maybe im just used to more flavorful foods around Chicago so my taste buds are a bit biased.

First things, first. The food is pretty decent considering this is Iowa– just sayin. It’s the closest thing I’ve found to the great places Ive tried in Chicago and California. Unfortunately the steak is dry and a little bland. Cheese dip is excellent. Prices a little too high for add ons($ 1.20 for each item on taco– come plain). The service is subpar at best. The person identified as the owner(little older lady working the register) can be very rude and more concerned with socializing with friends/family than attending to people waiting to place orders. Tonight I watched her get nasty with a customer who’s order was made incorrectly, and then follow the woman OUTSIDE to write her plate number down. When the woman came in to ask why, the owner got even nastier, refused to give her name and then told other customers the woman refused to pay bc of price. Which did not appear to be the case. Just sayin… they only get 2 stars because I haven’t found anything better… yet. And because customer service should not be taken for granted.

My expectations for this place was about average, so around Los Agaves quality. Perhaps this was an off day though the food was not good, the enchiladas were very soggy, the burrito red sauce had a strong unpleasant aftertaste, the tamales were firm and tasteless. The waiter was attentive and the salsa was awesome though overall this was underwhelming which was surprising due to the expectations.

Great food at a very decent price. Compared the chicken fajitas from azteca vs Los agaves… Azteca wins by a land-slide. Their chicken fajita lunch special cost 6.41 which includes chips and salsa, rice, refried beans, shredded lettuce, sour cream, guacamole, 4 corn or 3 flour tortillas, then the piece a la resistannce the stir fried good of chicken, green pepper and white onion. Not only is this an incredible bang for the buck but far exceeds any Mexican restaurant in taste, service, and price in the quad city area. Well done azteca, quality indeed.

I’ve been there a couple times now. Food is excellent! Chips and salsa when you sit down. Great lunch specials for around $ 5. Service is good. Definitely not overbearing. The bathrooms… well… that could use a little cleaning.
