Chili’s

Tonight’s visit was absolutly unacceptable. We arrived around 8:15 for a late dinner, knowing this location closes at 10 pm on Sundays. We were seated in the bar area, it took several minutes for our server to greet us, she never told us her name. We ordered our appetizers, texas cheese fries and your new fried pickles. The fries came a few minutes before the pickles and were overcooked, the cheese was melted, but dried out .The pickles were tasty. Our server delivered the apps, but never came back to check on them. Next time she came to the table, she asked us if we wanted our bill, we replied that we were waiting to order dinner. I ordered the garlic butter sirloin. As our food was delivered, my «fresh steamed broccoli» was still in its plastic bag and the server stated that she forgot to take it out, while dumping it on my plate at the table. It was mushy and over cooked. My steak was a very odd color and did not look very appetizing. I sat with my food in front of me for at least 15 minutes waiting to box up my less than par meal. I would have said something to the manager, if he had not been sitting at the bar, swooning over the football game on TV. Thank goodness, I was paying for the meal with gift cards I had received for Christmas or I would be vastly more upset than I am right now. I paid my portion of the bill with the cards, never hearing from my server again, left cash on the table to cover the rest. We have given this restaurant chances time and time again. But tonight will have been our last visit.

The service was good by our waitress.
The food left a lot to be desired. I had the country fried streak. The portion size has easily been cut in half with no reduction in price. The meat was raw in the middle. When I tried to cut into it blood shot out of it. The waitress looked at it and said it wasn’t right. Then the manager came over and explained how it had been cooked incorrectly… and left.
Chilis really sucks anymore. Get the new pretzels and then go somewhere else to eat.

OK — I decided after a year to go back and try this institution again. You see, I come from Dallas where the original Chili’s was established on Greenville Ave. so we go back a long way. I continue to be extremely disappointed in this specific location. To start, the service is still horrible. Who was the brilliant marketing genius that decided that a wireless touch screen device needs to be put on every table? You have people eating/​touching food now touching these screen? There was food all over this device — horrible. Nobody ever thought of the cleanliness aspect of this? Certainly the wait staff didn’t because they never seemed to wipe them off. My food tasted old. The lettuce in the salad was old and wilted and starting to turn brown. My partners burger was over cooked and dry. There are not enough cheap margarita’s at Chili’s to cover up what a mess this place was. And trust me, I tried… The Quad Cities has so few really good restaurants that this one should be a slam dunk for good food and a good time. I will not be back…

I’ve tried to enjoy this place but I just cant. The food is never that tasty and the staff is always a bunch of lil 16 year old girls who seem to think its ok to gossip with each other about this sex life in front of the customers. My most recent visit included a burger and fry, and my wife had what she had (i dont remember lol) but my burger was greasy and tasted like old meat, I got exactly 9 fries (I counted) and including her meal our total was almost $ 40. This was a good way to win me over !! But just remember, im fat so Im sure ill be back JUST BECAUSE when fat people get hungry, we eat at the first restraunt we see.

Eh. It’s chili’s. I do love the southwest egg rolls though.

The food is always great and the servers are friendly! I love to go to the Davenport, IA Chili’s! The queso and chips are awesome and the mini burgers are my absolute favorite anywhere! My husband always gets the steak, but he’s a steak man! Chili’s is a treat for us! The chips just keep coming and the margarita’s are supurb!
