Chuck’s Tap is actually owned by «Tom» but instinctively answers when you call him «Chuck». I guess that’s what happens after 30 years of experience owning a neighborhood corner bar.
So, by the time «Tom» spilled his guts about the history of the place, the explanation of the menu, detailed info about his infamous chicken fryer that actually cooks pork chops to perfection and the fact that you can order a «Greasy Cheeseburger» at 6 A. M… we were on our third PBR.
Chuck’s Tap is a double bonus… a Greasy Spoon of the «Highest Cholesterol» and possibly the most reputable Dive Bar in the area!
