Duck Creek Armory

I had a shotgun on layaway there for about 6 months… After claiming it should have only taken 30 – 45 days. I then got tired of that and moved my layaway over to a XD45 compact. The sales guy I was talking to said he was holding it in his hand as we spoke on the phone and that it will go out as soon as payment was sent to them. I told jim to move over my layaway money on the shotgun I had paid for in full and he said that was not a problem. 12 days later I get an email stating my gun will ship in 30 – 45 days. Furious I write and email and no response… I called and talked to a manager and the manager made lots of excuses for his employee stating that my order did not have an XD on it and that they have not had an XD in the store in months… That I or the other sales rep got confused… I then asked how does a guy working at a gun shop get confused over an XD that he told me was IN HIS HANDS as we chatted… Told me how good the gun looked etc. I just asked for a refund which they promptly gave me and I have not been back since. I did do a Bing search for them today and it seems like the BBB has stepped in and the police and ATF have been notified about this company and Duck Creek’s website is down and phone is disconnected. Glad I was able to get my money back. Feel sorry for those that are still trying to get their gun from these criminals
