lagomarcino’s is an old fashion looking ice cream shop. nice, laid back atmosphere. came here for the first time and got a turtle sundae and a chili.(I’m a sweet/salty mix type of person). chili was decent. homemade. gave us lots of saltines. ha. nothing too amazing though. now the turtle sundae on the other hand. amazing!!! just for their ice cream, i’d totally bring people back here. the caramel was very unique… delicious…stuck out the most in the sundae. I’d definitely recommend their ice cream, just make sure you get something with caramel and you won’t be disappointed. servings were pretty small for the price. just enough for me since i can’t eat too much ice cream at a time. a nice, cute place for a quick(delicious) snack.

Over all, this was a good eating experience. The confectionery is far better then the restaurant, but still worth grabbing a bite. Sandwiches were nothing to write home about, but they were satisfying and fresh. I can’t remember the name now, but they have a special green lime soday drink. Order it. If you leave here without sampling some of the candies… well, just don’t do it.

Gotta do another review on Lagos, just to reiterate how awesome this place is. My sister got married about a month ago and we took some pictures down in the East Village. It was about 3:00 p.m. and pretty deserted. My husband had the brilliant idea to see if we could take a few pictures at the counter with ice cream as props. He went in and Tom readily agreed to this proposal. Our photographer was allowed behind the counter and we pretty much hogged 1⁄3 of the store without anyone complaining or asking us to leave. Like always, the malts and shakes we ordered were delicious and worth eating even if spilled all over my sister’s white dress. The experience was very memorable and I wouldn’t expect anything less of this family owned business. ALSO-the hot chocolate served at the end of the Lagomarcino’s Coco Beano 5k is heavenly. Best I’ve ever had.

Best hot fudge sundae in the world! Ok sandwiches on good homemade bread. Good candies. A little pricey.

We were here 2 years ago, and it was a beautiful day to take a little walk, and look for eagles. After a visit to thr wild bird shop, we stopped in here. It’s just as charming and old-fashioned as we remember. Great hot fudge sundae & banana splits. Old fashioned candy counter, too. ***************************************** Old fashioned ice cream parlor. . Hand dipped candies. What a gem! Reminds me of Gertie’s that used to be located next to the Colony Theatre at 58th& Kedzie. I had the Luck of the Irish sundae: Mint chocolate chip ice cream. .whipped cream.. & a green maraschino cherry… mmmm

Largamarcino’s is a Quad Cities institution and makes you feel like you have stepped back in time. However in all of the years I have lived in or traveled to the QCA, I had never been to Davenport location. Big oversight on my part. I wished I had gone before because the experience was outstanding this trip. Clean and well cared for, this location offered great service and outstanding chocolate products made by the company themselves. Try the Sponge, which is only available after the fall begins. Their fountain egg creams are well prepared, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and I am so glad this place is consistent with the Moline store. I plan on going back next trip up.

We ordered a root beer float and raspberry shake. Fun place with a real soda fountain. Staff was friendly, had a great time.

Favorite place to eat in Davenport East Village. Have gotten a private tour of the back of the store where the chocolates are made and you can say it is what I think of when I think of heaven. Best chocolates are the dark chocolate sea salt caramels — nothing beats them… well the homemade peanut butter cups are also really good! And don’t get me started on the ice-cream — homemade and out of this world!

They have good ice-cream and candies in a really cool old-school soda fountain setting. Neat place.

Great stuff! We stopped here for ice cream after a tasty lunch at the Village Corner Deli down the street. This was a perfect ending to a lunch date. So many options to choose from, the best part, they make their own ice cream! Grab some chocolates to go!

Stopped in for lunchtime dessert while in town for business. Wasn’t overly impressed. I had a turtle sundae and expected the hot fudge to be out of this world amazing. But it was just ok. Maybe I’m a little jaded because I live near no less than 6 old fashioned ice cream parlors and have had better ice cream closer to home. Definitely a cute place to check out if you’re in the area, though. Just don’t expect to have the best sundae of your life.

We stopped by Lagomarcino’s for lunch and were not disappointed. We split a chicken salad sandwich and a hot fudge banana split. Friendly service, tasty food, cute town.
