I hired Suburban Construction to put in an egress window in a basement bedroom to make it a legally «conforming» bedroom. Long story short, after a few weeks and one admittedly very heavy rain my entire basement flooded and ruined all the carpet and pad. I took pictures, sent emails, had phone conversations but their position was that they installed it correctly and it wasn’t their fault. Here is a quote from one of the emails, «These wells are not designed to keep water out. They are designed emergency escape.» As a dissatisfied customer I disagree. I was very disappointed and I wrote this review to caution others.
