I’m not the chocolate expert in my household, but to me the truffles here are excellent. They have a pretty large selection as well, and it looks like the ice cream they sell in the store is homemade. The truffles are sold by weight, which I like, and the prices are reasonable. Since I do have a chocolate expert at home, and the shop is two minutes from my office, I have a feeling I’ll be a regular here.

I’m a fan of the «Champagne Truffle» this one took a while to finish, it was so fine I was glad I gave Davidson Chocolate (this time in Davidson) another chance and a review! Overall 3 stars may be a little generous, though the «Champagne Truffle» shows they have potential!
On Competition they only beat «The Secret Chocolatier» in Charlotte and maybe «Miss M. s Sweets in Concord.
Now to tell you about the one’s I did not like: Hazelnut Truffle, a good 2nd place, 3 Unilocal stars. Bailey’s Truffle 2.5 stars. Kahlua 2 Unilocal stars.
Hopefully they continue to improve!

I am not a chocolate person but I liked the Davidson Chocolate Co. They have everything for a chocolate lover (2 types: milk and dark chocolate) including chocolate boxes, chocolate covered fruit, chocolate everything. There’s even ice cream for those non-​chocolate people like me. Very cool and a great price too!
