I have been going to Monkees for a while now because I love that they carry cute and unique items. There is a wide variety of designers which is nice to have in a local boutique. The shoes and handbag choices are great as well. Being able to support a local business and have a great selection to choose from is wonderful!

This boutique is just amazing. .. every time I hit up Monkees for something specific or just browsing. .. I always find my goods! I have the opportunity to shop around the world with my traveling work. .. and I have over ½ of my closet stocked here! Designers are awesome, head to toe fashion, and great staff! Just hit the fitting room and let them dress you! It’s amazing every time! Thanks Monkettes!!!

I just went to Monkee’s LKN for the first time and LOVED it! This is my very first Unilocal review. I had heard great things about Monkee’s of Lake Norman and wanted to stop by for a while. I Googled the address and saw the 2 negative reviews and was a little skeptical about going. After my visit, I’m relieved to say my experience was wonderful!
Not sure what these other reviews are all about, but I felt so welcomed in the store. The girls were really nice, helpful, and attentive. They greeted me, asked me what I was looking for and helped me find the most AMAZING pair of jeans. I actually bought 2 different styles by the same brand. The service was impeccable. The selection was great and the sales girls were very knowledgeable about the brands they carry.

First and last time in this location. I went in to see if they had a particular item and no one seemed interested in helping me. I think only 2 people work there, 1 was folding jeans and the other was on the phone talking about her computer.
Very nice selection of shoes and clothing but customer service is horrible. I will stick with Birkdale and Southpark where service is much better.

I’ve given up on Monkee’s LKN. Although they carry wonderful items from Tory Burch & Lily Pulitzer, the customer service is abominable. Think snotty sales girls from Pretty Woman. I regularly have stopped in to buy something to wear last minute and after the last few visits, I just can’t go back. I would rather make the drive to Southpark knowing I can find the same cute clothes but with friendly attitudes and helpful assistance.
