Every time I come here it seems like they must be giving something away. There is never an empty pump — or any spots open at the front of the convenience store. There really isn’t ever a line, you can pull up and be the next person… I have been here at different times during the day and it is always the same. This is the one gas station that I’ve been to where people park their car, and go inside to shop for an extended period of time. At first I thought it was taking so long because people were all paying with cash, but this is not the case. And then of course, after the shopping spree they have to fill up, so you never really know how long you are going to be waiting for a pump. I don’t usually go inside gas stations, but there was a time when I wanted icees all the time. And where better to go than 7 – 11(actually is there anywhere else to go?) Suffice to say, I have been inside, and there is nothing in there that is so spectacular that warrants a completely full lot and no open pumps. Just a regular gas station, with all the usual snack food, junk food, fizzy drinks, and alcohol! On my last visit to this location, my car notified me that I needed some air in my tires. When I went to put the quarter in the machine– it was jammed. Someone in another car started yelling out how it wasn’t working. Yes, thank you. So I wound up having to drive to the next closest gas station to get air in my tires. Very irritating.

This station is pretty conveniently located for me on my way home. It has also been there for all the times my wife requests something sweet. There aren’t tons if options in the emergency immediate sweets department. Lots of restaurants and some shady food stuffs stores covered in iron bars.(This makes no sense to me as literally 5 feet from an iron cladforefront is a whole shiny modern shopping center-) Either way, I’m not into questionable establishments sporting metal and Publix can take time to get through the line, even if you only have a few items. 7 – 11 is very convenient. All candy bars and other sweet treats are easily located. There is not as wide of a selection here than at a supermarket, but large selection leads to lots of contemplation and not speed. There are the smaller tubs of ice cream if that’s what you want. Simple gas up and go. Unless you ned a snack/drink as well from inside the convenience store.
