Just went there and was seated fast and chips and salsa brought immediately. However 20 minutes go by no waiter or waitress will stop and take any drink order or food order and we didn’t even get water. So after eating chips and salsa for 20 minutes without any drinks or service!!! GOODBYE Azteca! NO Mas! HELLO Tijuana Taxi Company!!!

Parking is horrible. Yes, it was packed but the positioning of parking spots stinks. Once inside, you can wait for a table in dining area to the left, or seat down immediately in bar area on the right… We Choose Poorly !! Bar on the right. It was so loud, from the bar area, to the girls party of 10 drinking and being loud(too much alcohol… lol). Not a good start fir a night with the wife. All these tables had only two waitresses. They worked extremely hard but we were not being served quickly. I would have drank more! Missed happy hour so Coronas were $ 5.25 each(Gesh!) and the wife had a huge margarita for $ 10.50. But you should gave see this big glass with plenty of liquor in it. Now, the food. The only good part of the night. For appetizers we had Chips and quest YUM! We both had enchiladas with Mexican rice and retried beans! It was Delicious.

Best Mexican I have had in a long time! The burrito was by far the best I’ve had and the enchiladas were excellent as well. Margaritas are a must, highly recommend!

Been going here for over ten years and it has gone downhill big time. Food, service, cleanliness. I would not recommend it. I used to enjoy going there. It’s a shame.

We’ve been coming to this restaurant off and on over the last 15 years. This is a great place if you have last minute dinner plans and just show up. We experienced quick seating, prompt service and our food came out fast as well. We also noted that the portions were very large. The only downside we noted was the décor could probably be changed. Carpet in a dining room is a big turn-off so they should consider replacing with tile. Overall, a good experience and we would come back again.

This is my second time coming to Azteca. I had visited this restaurant a couple years ago and wasn’t so thrilled. Decided to come check it out again, and still wasn’t so thrilled. The service was okay. The food was average as well. We ordered our food and the food came out about 5 minutes later. That took me a bit by surprise.

The tequila is smooth and the food is good. Make sure you have a reservation because it is packed.

We love to come here for the giant margaritas and live mariachi band… who lets me sing with them. The food is yummy, too! You’d get a better review if I hadn’t had two of those fabulous, giant, AFFORDABLE margaritas.

Ordered shrimp tacos. The shrimp didn’t have any of the sauce or seasoning the menu promised me. Why. Took a bite and it was bad.

I’m a big fan of Mexican food and just moved to the Davie area recently. This place quickly became my go-to when I discovered it. Keep an eye out for their margarita specials(as I always seem to miss it on Saturdays). Service can be kinda slow sometimes but the food is well worth the wait. Be sure to bring your Spanish along as a lot of the wait staff may not speak English.

I love the food here, it is so full of flavor. The ambiance is nice and certain days and times mariachis will play from table to table. I highly recommend the carne asada burrito. beware, it comes with two huge burritos! I went in this afternoon and ordered it to go and was a little taken back by the price, it was 19.87! No lunch specials on the weekend she said. I brought it home and although it tastes delicious, I was a little disappointed that my lunch was placed between two oval paper plates and wrapped in foil. Other than that, it never disappoints, good food, good maragritas, the best Mexican food in the area.

I used to like this place. But last night we had a COCKROACH crawl out next to us on the wall. We had one of the waiters try to get rid of it, they ended up moving us, and did give half of our party a 25% discount. But the manager never came out and never addressed the situation. The restaurant was not busy and nothing seemed to be done about it. We even saw the roach later walking about by the table we where originally at. Most likely not coming back here again. It sucks as we used to come here for over 10 years, but a simple apology from a manager would have been a start. Our waiter was good that night, but we have ignored slow service and bad service on other nights before. But this Roach incident is too much for us now.

Azteca I hope you read this review because your employees are Running Your Establishment! Not You! Allowing dogs inside the restaurant. Unexceptional! The Health Department has given this place pretty hard write ups. Put dogs into the mix and NO were NOTSERVICEDOG! Gross! Either it’s ants or something else I do not want to be exposed to animals Especially from Abroad! Oh yeah! The Police would have fun with this one! Shame! Centralia WA and hitting S.Florida. Clean Up this place please! My food was ok. It has lost the flavor. Beef was tough. This is a private corporation and I think they Want to know what IS going on and why they are Not thriving in South Florida. I personally met the Ramos Family in Centralia before it expanded much. It was the Best Food! Nothing I get is like that here. Please contact them. Emails are beautiful! Watch Out fellow Unilocalers! There is another restaurant on Sheridan Patron Azteca. I think we may try this one. However I’m a bit nervous because I’m not seeing many eating there and this could mean potential old food. Oh! What to do? Hmm, think I will k’o this entire thing for safety’s sake!

This place has maintained its consistency over the many years I have dined here. Upon arriving, they bring you chips, salsa, and refried beans. The salsa is mild and fresh. The beans are topped with cotija cheese. I ordered the enchilada with two sides of refried beans. You have a choice of white rice, Spanish rice, rancho beans(whole pinto beans), black beans, and refried beans. They also allow you to substitute veggies or a side salad. It is nice to have so many side options. I chose the shredded beef for my enchilada. It was delicious for the low price of $ 8. Most places would cost over $ 10 for that meal at dinner. It was the perfect size portion for the price. The menu is large. They have many tasty sounding desserts, but we decided to be good! The happy hour is only in the bar until 6pm. The restaurant is large with multiple dining rooms. The bar/lounge area is also large. I have never waited to be seated here. There is a large attached parking lot. I definitely recommend this restaurant for a good Mexican Meal(not authentic).

Went to Azteca for a birthday celebration. The place can easily accommodate big parties, but the service certainly can’t. We needed an extra table to set the cake and presents on and not ONE employee offered to help, instead just stood aside and watched as women moved the table themselves. The restaurants needs a visit from«Restaurant: Impossible» ASAP. The food was messy and greasy. Not authentic at all. The plating was terrible. I wasn’t expecting anything fancy, but at least for them to be neatly served. I ordered a cortadito at the end of the meal, I regret not having taken a picture of how it arrived. It was clear the coffee/foam overflowed and instead of wiping it off, they just let it dry leaving the entirety of the cup crusty and sticky. Really no one saw this before it being taken to the table? There was only one waitress assigned for a group of 30+ people. After we finished our first glasses of water, they remained empty for the rest of the meal(4 hours). Our alcoholic drinks were flowing, but water nowhere to be seen even after having requested water refills many times. Needless to say, there was way too many used plates, empty glasses on the table waiting to be picked up. In conclusion, there wasn’t a single thing about Azteca that would make me want to go back or recommend it to a friend. So please don’t waste your time.

Two and a half stars. I was not pleased with this place. It wasn’t just the food that was disappointing, but I felt rushed. For me to say that is really saying something. I am the most impatient person I know. My hubby and my kids joke about it. I don’t like waiting, but I know this about myself, so I tend to cut a lot of slack in this area, or I just avoid places that make me wait. This place is another story. Lunch time came and I thought I would try this place, and start with something basic, a taco salad. My server came back and asked for my drink order right away. «Great!» I thought. This guy is on the ball. He brought back the water, and asked for my order. I had a question about the taco salad meat choices, and he answered. So I said I would like that with the ground beef and… I wasn’t finished with my sentence when he grabbed my menu and took off. I thought I would get him next time and add the deluxe part. I looked at my phone to check in, and seriously, not exaggerating, he was back to my table with the food. Normally I would be so happy, but I wanted the deluxe, and I didn’t get a chance to tell him. Usually the server will ask if I need anything else, but he was off again, making the rounds at the other tables. He never came back to check on me. Part of me was in awe. This guy was seriously the fastest waiter ever. He could have been my favorite waiter ever, but I would prefer that he was not only fast, BUT also concerned that I have everything I need to enjoy the meal. Back to the food. I wanted the taco salad, but the deluxe, because it comes with sour cream and guacamole. After eating the salad, I can say the deluxe part was sorely needed. The meat was the most puzzling thing to me about this dish. I don’t know what they season it with, but it was just awful. Really, I don’t know how anyone can mess up a taco salad, but these guys did here. This dish was the epitome of «looks can be deceiving.» The salad looked fantastic, but one bite later, the honeymoon was over. It really needed the sour cream and guacamole, but not sure even those would have saved this dish. I took it home to Hubby so he could sample it, and the verdict was in. He isn’t as picky as I am, so I don’t know what the deal is with their recipe. He didn’t like the meat either. I have a few comments about the restaurant itself. The layout is pretty nice. They serve chips and salsa which aren’t bad. I liked the booth seating, and they have a lot of space in there so people are not piled on top of each other. I noticed there was another section to the restaurant, but I didn’t get a good look at it. The place seemed like it would be good for groups, but I would have to try other things on the menu before recommending them. I can’t do that after this visit.

Mexican-American cuisine. Very good lunch specials! I’ve tried about everything on the menu and I’ve never been disappointed. Personally I love their rice and pinto beans. The salsa is very good too. Be careful with the hot salsa, it’s pretty hot and I like spicy stuff. The dinner menu is very similar to the lunch menu, just bigger portions of course. The margaritas are very good and pretty big! They also have standard beers and wines to offer as well. Basically your full bar set up. This particular location has karaōke on the weekends and it is so much fun! Deff try this place out if your like a good Mexican-American dish!
