Robert Baden-Powell would puke. This isn’t a camp ground, it’s a park they put tents in. The rules are outrageous, the staff’s is rude and they go out of their way to inconvenience campers. There are no trees, you can see the houses in that development next door and the other side us a dump. No really, the whole southern skyline is a 50 ft high trash dump mound. You would have to be insane to swim or fish in the runoff pond here. You(and your kids) are NOT allowed to bicycle. Paid $ 100.00 for 2 adults and 2 small kids for Friday and Saturday night, had to set up in the dark because they didn’t unlock the gate until 5 pm and we weren’t allowed to drive our gear to the camp site, we had to carry everything. Then the kiss off after the weekend: «You can’t use the dumpsters, you have to take your trash with you.» I’ll gouge my own eyes out before I come here again. The shower was hot, so not a one star review, but we had to clean 2 bathrooms before we left as well.

Nice and clean campground, this was a great experience for our first adventure with me and my son in the Cub Scouts. Everyone watched out for each other and the grounds are well maintained. The people is what makes this campground even better. I’m looking forward to more events here. Also, thanks to the Davie Police, Davie Fire Rescue, Broward Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Forest Service for coming out and putting on demonstrations for the kids. They had a blast!
