Enjoying my drink, chicha morada and empanadas on my off day. We’ve booked miski for my sisters wedding! (The chicha wasn’t too sweet which is just perfect!)

Great coffee, nice desserts, friendly staff ;) Walked in to have a snack and ordered nice coffee con leche and was surprised with this delicious cake. The staff were very friendly. Took out tamales to go. Wish they had vegetarian tamales as well. Maybe in future?

The cakes and empanadas at this bakery are delicious. The pastel de acelga is simply incredible. Their torta de chocolate is authentic Peruvian, as is their suspiro Limeño…yum! The waits can be long(the only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars) but they are worth the wait. When we’ve gone in a day or two before and placed and paid for our order, it’s always been ready and delicious on time. So if you’re in a rush, I recommend ordering ahead.

If you live in Davie/Cooper city area then you know what a challenge it is to find a locally owned mom and pop food establishment. Everything seems to be chains and franchises. We were lucky to stumble upon miski’s. Husband and wife running a quaint bakery with delicious Peruvian food. The café con leche was silky smooth and the causa de pollo is authentically perfect.

I’m happy some of you had a good experience here. I went here on my lunch break and I called in the order 30 minutes ahead because they said it would take 30 min to prepare. I called in 3 orders of ceviche. They said it would be $ 6.99 for the lunch combo. When we got there, we had to wait an additional 20 minutes, while I was on my 30 min lunch break! Once the food was ready, they said it was 11.99 each!!! And it was not a combo and did not come with a drink. They said lunch was over at 2pm, even though we ordered it before 2 and was told it would be 6.99. They don’t want to make their customers happy, they don’t try and work with you, they have no respect for your time and they are very deceptive. I will not be coming here again and I do not recommend it!!!

The best Empanadas so far. We tried both the«carne» and the«aji de gallina». Also tried the chicken sandwich which was delicious. The sandwich the Asado was just OK The chocolate and Lucuma cake was really good. Definitely will be g going back to try some other items on the menu.

4.5 stars. Very Peruvian place. Feels authentic. Had anticuchos, beef hearts, very very good. Had the Peruvian beef empanada, the dough was very distinctly home made and nicely done, the beef inside was a bit dry though. It was closing time at though, maybe don’t come right at closing time. Chicha morada was fresh, nicely balanced. I recommend this place too.
