For $ 11, it’s hard to beat. There’s a good selection of sushi, hot food, dessert, ice cream, and even hibachi available. Ate 5 plates and was totally satisfied all throughout dinner.

This place is clean and the staff is very friendly and attentive. our waitress would check one us regularly even though it was busy. the food was fresh and there was a lot of variety for me as a vegetarian… I’ve passed this place mangy times because it looks very unassuming from the outside… but dont be fooled its worth the visit… only things that stopped me from giving it 5 stars was the cost… Me and my two girls went and the bill was over 74.00 that’s a Lil high for the area and size but in the end i would go back.

This place is fantastic! Such a big selection of food to choose from. Crab legs, oysters, shrimp, sushi, you name it! There tends to be a bit of a wait but that’s only because this place is really good. The wait will suck but it’ll be worth it once you’re in. Come with a big appetite and try their bubble tea but not the lychee flavored one. My cousin got the lychee flavored bubble tea and she didn’t like it, mine was a different flavor and it was delicious. Despite of this, I still give them five stars because their selection of food is unbelievable!

This place is really really good. Sushi portions are smaller than you might find at other restaurants close by but who cares, go back as much as you like. So many fresh varieties of sushi and sashimi. The baby octopus is wonderful, ceviche is plentiful and whoa… I made too many trips to the sushi. Should have taken a lap around the place first. Snow crabs, oysters, green mussels, shrimp. Whaaaaat, there is a hibachi and full Chinese buffet. I can’t walk, which door can accommodate my wheelbarrow? I want to make another trip to the desert bar but need someone to carry me over there. Wow, called Über and got a lift to the desert bar. Nice cookies and crème brûlée. Surprised I could spell this since they also have a full service bar. Speaking of service, very delightful. I guess my red neck was showing since they brought over a nice set of pliers. They said :-) use these to crack the legs. I hope to see you all there sometime. I am the one elbow deep in snow crabs over in the corner.

One of the best buffets I ever went. The food is fresh and very good. There’s not just sushis so a person who hates fish can easily eat there. There’s a ton for f choices for sushi and there’s also a hibachi station to sauté everything you want. I recommend.

If you’re wary of sushi buffets, don’t worry, I’m with you on that. I love me a good buffet just like anyone else, but when it comes to sushi who knows how long that fish has been sitting out. But Shinju was actually not bad. In fact, it was downright great. We had some trouble getting seated at first(we had an odd number of people — 5) so it took a while. Plus, it was pretty full at dinner time. Still, I took the popularity as a good sign. There were many different platters of sushi and sashimi. All of the fish were very fresh. The rolls were done nicely. Some of the salads were not as great(I don’t think I’d want to try the ceviche or conch salad again), but the hot entrees were totally on point and delicious. I didn’t eat this but it seems they have tons of snow crab legs and even fresh raw oysters. Would definitely come back again!!!

This is one of my favorite«I’m not dieting» places to eat. Is there better sushi, I guess. Is there better stir-fry, probably. Is there better red bean ice-cream, I don’t know, never have room for dessert. I go there for one thing, and that is sushi! It’s good they have something like 50 — 70 different types and shrimp with lunch or crab with dinner. Several different types of Japanese salads, squid and all but that’s of no concern to me. All I want is fresh yummy sushi! I could continue all day like this but if you love sushi or know someone who does you can’t beat Shinju.

Good food! Their hot meals are yummy and have a decent variety(huge fan of the coconut shrimp) and their sushi variety is decent as well. Only issues were: water kind of tasted very… not filtered? I don’t know how to describe it. I honestly didn’t mind but my boyfriend thought it was gross. I really wanted to try the oysters but was nervous to… tried the crab legs instead and they tasted sort of old. Not rich and sweet like they should normally. Would probably come back again though!

The selection is amazing. I have never been to a place where avocado and cream cheese rolls are already made, I usually have to specially order it. The sushi was really fresh and there was everything from sashimi to sushi to salads. As for the hot food, there was hibachi and also a variety of Chinese foods — my favorite was the coconut shrimp — so flavorful. The garlic clams were also really good. The desserts were pretty yummy too. I had the strawberry and butter pecan ice cream and also the crème Brûlée. The crème brûlée was rly good it tasted like a don tot with sugar on top. Wish I had this place at home. Definitely recommend.

The Chinese food is good, but they could use some more options for people that don’t eat sushi/seafood. Everything that I did have was good(but I’m kind of a picky eater and didn’t have many options. The service was kind ehhh. I asked for another water and my waitress just never brought it(the restaurant was slow at the time).

This was my first Shinju location and in my opinion the superior location as well. All you can eat sushi? All you can eat hibachi? Yes please. Sure, the quality isn’t as high as what you would find at a swanky seafood/sushi restaurant, but that’s to be expected when you’re only paying $ 13 – 15. With that being said, I’d still argue that the sushi here is better than I’ve had at other restaurants. Everyone has their favorite rolls(mine is the Spicy Tuna), but with the large variety they have here, I’m sure you’re bound to satisfy your sushi craving. In addition to the sushi and hibachi, they have a decent offering of your traditional Chinese buffet items. As is the case with most(all?) Asian buffets, the dessert selection is pitiful.

Above average Japanese buffet. This place is PACKED on the weekend so be prepared to wait a little to be seated. The prices are amazing for what you get. I think for dinner it’s like $ 21 per adult. I believe lunch is around $ 15. They have a hibachi with a guy who can customize your order. I honestly tell him everything LOL and it’s amazing!!! Very fresh! This section offers: shrimp, chicken, or steak and different veggies. You can add garlic and hot sauce if you’d like. They have a full service buffet with everything you’d find on a Chinese take out menu. Rice, noodles, tempura, veggies, meats, wantons, etc. They also have a sushi station that changes daily. Every time I go they have a different selection. They also offer all you can eat crab legs … These must be good because they are always gone(Im not big on crab legs). And finally a good variety for dessert. I mean how can you possibly go wrong? The staff is funny and very nice. They are quick and refill drinks fast.

It’s buffet food, but above average. I have hit this place several times over the last couple years, and I have pretty much tried everything for lunch. I understand the dinner offers more options(for a price) and maybe some time we will hit this place for the more expansive seafood offerings. I usually head here during lunch when I need to get out of Dodge and be away from the stress of office chaos. During these times it’s not so much about having the best quality food as it is about taking a deep breath, and sitting down in a somewhat tranquil atmosphere. The only time I get a little stressed is in the sushi line, so I try to time it when there are as few people to compete with as possible. There are a lot of rolls to choose from and also the standard sushi. I haven’t really been wowed by anything here, but I do love that I can wasabi up at the front of the station because when I am eating mediocre sushi, I love that assist the wasabi brings with the kick! The Chinese food in the back is more of the same, and usually lukewarm when it makes it to the table. It’s okay, but I can’t help but grab a dumpling usually. Those are good even when they are lukewarm. I think the real ticket at this place is the hibachi station during lunch. It’s the one thing that you can have truly prepared fresh, and it only takes a couple minutes. You pick which meat and veggies they add, and then you take it to your table hot. Today I went with the shrimp and I was very happy with my choice. I had the guy add mushrooms, zucchini and broccoli. Everything was cooked perfectly. I must have timed it well because as I walked back to my table, three of Davie’s Finest walked up for their order. I think Davie Police does a lot of lunches here because almost every time I have come in there are several of them here all eating together. At least I am safe during lunch here. The servers here are very nice, and they really just make sure you have something to drink, have napkins, and the plates are removed. They are very stealthy, which makes me wonder if they are also psychic. They always bring the check at the right time, and the price is right. I pay about the same amount here as I do for a cheeseburger and fries at other places nearby. I think this is an excellent place for office lunches because there’s no fussing over the check. Everyone pays the same, and you only need to take into account the drinks for any differences. The place is huge too, so seating shouldn’t be a problem.

2 and a half stars. I was really disappointed on our last visit. Sushi was not being replenished and some of the usual favorites weren’t as good as in the past. The hibachi chef was also very rude to some young girls(12 or 13) who just asked a question about one of the dishes. Ew. Leave your stank attitude at the door! Hope this location isn’t going down hill but I think I’ll stick with the one in Weston for awhile.

I have to say I’m peasantly surprised by this place I’ve always been weary of all you can eat buffets but this one put my mind at ease. On Monday’s and Tuesday’s they have happy hour all day were you get 2 for 1 on beers and house sake. The restaurant is big and they give you a choice of a table or a booth. The décor is simple nothing to ooh and aaah over, they do have tv’s which I think its a great idea especially if you’re planning in being there for a while. They have 4 different sections of food. The first has crab legs(I think they were either snow or dungeoness no bigger then that), oysters, shrimp pretty much your cold seafood, at the end of this section is where you will find dessert they have cookies, ice cream and assorted pastries. They also have a long section of about 10 different sushi rolls, sashimi, seaweed salad, and your sauces(eel, soy, spicy mayo). Then you have your Chinese food section with things like fried rice, Lo mein, orange chicken etc… Lastly they have a hibachi grill were you can choose from veggie, steak, chicken or shrimp to have a stir fry made. My complains would be that the Chinese food was dry probably from being under the heating lamps for too long. The crab meat in the crab legs was a bit mushy probably for being overcooked. The hibachi part if this experience left me not wanting to have it again it was pretty flavorless and overcooked. Regardless I enjoyed my experience, the wait staff was efficient but gave you space. I would come back here again. If you want all you can eat sushi and crab legs then paying $ 18.95 for an adults dinner and $ 8.95 for a child is not too bad.

I had been dying to check this place out the minute it showed up on my nearby places. I love Japanese. I love buffets(obvi who doesn’t). DONTJUDGEHOWMUCH I ATE. We finally got a chance to swing by and I was NOT disappointed! We were seated right away in a booth. They were very nice upon walking in. The place was clean and organized. There were carpets that didn’t smell like mold! A waitress came over right away and took our drink order. They have a great happy hour! She then told us to help ourselves! Oh boy, did I ever! My first round was some ginger salad and sushi, nigiri and rolls! The sushi and nigiri were my personal favorites because they were so fresh! The rolls were ok, but the tempura ones were soggy. I think I had literally 100 pieces of salmon sushi. I also had very delicious wonton soup. I then moved on to some hot dishes. I tried the spring rolls, which were a little soggy. The tempura veggies were delicious! The noodles were very good, but I was bummed they don’t make the rice noodle version. The fried rice was just ok. The sesame chicken was good. I also tried the salt and pepper shrimp which was delicious. I got seconds of that. Then, came the hibachi and crab legs. YUM! the crab legs were iced but still delicious, fresh crab. They were easy to crack and the meat fell right out! The hibachi was delicious! I love how you can walk right up and tell them what you want to in it! We had shrimp and chicken with veggies over rice! Great flavor and everything was cooked perfectly. I was disappointed with the desserts! There were a few cookies and cake pieces and ice cream. I would have enjoyed some thai donuts(I know this place isn’t thai but most buffets have these). even a fondue fountain would be cool(a buffet in Miami has this). I tried some of the green tea ice cream, and it was just decent. I am sure I could have gotten another plate or two of food, but then I would have rolled out of the restaurant. The price of the buffet is a little steep, but considering what they have it is worth it! I saw them constantly putting out fresh food. And they close in between lunch and dinner, which is normally a sign they cook everything fresh each time! Service was good, can’t wait to go back next time I am that hungry!

Our daughter could eat Sushi daily and I must really be in the mood for it. She found this restaurant on Unilocal so we decided to give it a try. This place is huge inside, plenty seating and very clean. Service was very good. I did start with a Lychee Sake which was not impressive at all. Our waitress did refill our water and take dirty plates away very quickly. What I did really enjoy: The Salmon sashimi was excellent. We could not get enough, it was super fresh. The Sushi looked quite fresh and my daughter said it was good. They have thankfully a HIbachi area where you can order anything you want. I did order chicken and shrimp hibachi with veggies. Oh how I love these veggies. The Hibachi was very very salty. I adore salt so for food to be salty to me trust me it must be very salty. The chicken and shrimp were good just overwhelmed by all the salt. Honestly I was not to happy about the hot dishes they had to offer. My favorite thin noodles were not on the buffet. I wanted to cry, ha ha the rice was decent, crab rangoons, shrimp, an d beef teriyaki were just ok. My daughter loved it here and yes I would come back. The service was very good, the place is very clean, and IMO the food is just ok. The price is reasonable for the amount of food they offer.
