Signature Maids

On 4÷8÷15 somebody came out to evaluate my house to find out how much it would cost to have it cleaned. I agreed to have them clean my house 10 days later. I watched the gentleman put my time in his calendar — 8:30am. I was having my carpets cleaned the same day, so I moved that appointment to between 1&5 because his maids would need 4 hours in my house. Here it is, the day of my appointment. No one showed up at 8:30am and I’ve left 2 messages for someone to call me letting me know what’s going on. They are now over an hour late. I have family coming into town next week and now I’m not sure how I’m going to get my house cleaned before they arrive. I have a very hectic schedule and don’t have a lot of free time plus I have debilitating arthritis. I’m mad that I was suckered into believing that because they made the effort to come out that they would show up.
Update: After posting this review, the owner contacted me (Kevin) because he got a page of a bad review. He was the one that came out to my house. Turns out they scheduled me for 1pm by mistake. I told him that I rescheduled my carpet cleaner to 1pm because he told me they’d be out at 8:30am. At 10:45am this morning, he was trying to find 2 people to come out to me on Sunday because they made the mistake. He told me to give him 15 minutes. I called him 45 minutes later and he told me to give him 15 more minutes. It’s now 12:45pm. I’ve left him a message and he’s not picking up his phone. I’m assuming at this point that I don’t have anyone coming at 1pm (as his company mistakenly scheduled) nor do I have a chance of anyone coming out on Sunday. I was pissed before, now I’m really mad. Don’t use this company. They’re not reliable and they give false promises. Looks like I’m going to have to try to clean my house on my own and hope for the best.
Update #2:
Kevin finally called me back and told me that unfortunately he could not get two girls for Sunday. He said he could still get two people out for today and I reluctantly agreed. He told me he could have 2 people there by about 1:15/1:20 but the 2 girls didn’t show up until 1:50. I showed them what I wanted to be cleaned and they went right to work. I had a 4 hour window for them to clean and it took them just a little under 3 hours. I have to admit they did a great job. They managed to clean things that I could not get to due to my arthritis and they made things shine. When I realized that they had missed dusting two rooms they immediately went back without question and did what I asked them to do. My house is finally cleaned and I don’t have to worry when family comes over next week. I’m changing my rating from 1 star to 3 stars. It would’ve been 4 stars had I not had a problem with the scheduling and phone call to begin with. Would I use them again after all of this? I just might.

I would normally feel badly about leaving a bad review, but I gave this company three chances only for them to cost me more money every time. For a while they would come once a month and do a pretty decent job (for a bachelor pad). Then I moved in with my boyfriend and I felt the cleaning just wasn’t up to par. I would come home and lift my appliances and/​or fruit bowl off the counter and I’d realize they hadn’t cleaned under anything so I would have to re-​clean after paying someone to clean my house. I hire a cleaning company to make sure I have one less thing to do during the week so you can imagine my disappointment when I come home and realize my house only looks clean from afar. The second time I had a problem was when I came home and saw bleach stains on my stairs. When my bf contacted the owner, he said he would have one of the maids come and take pictures of the stains for him to asses the damage and possibly reimburse us. That never happened. I still have bleach stains on the carpet up my stairs and he hasn’t taken any accountability for it. The final and last straw for me however, was when I came home to find dry-​clean only laundry in the dryer. There is no way the maids could have mistaken my dry cleaning for dirty laundry. I have never asked them to wash or dry any of my laundry. My dirty laundry is in a hamper, my dry cleaning was in the spare bedroom. I won’t ever bash a business, but this is just too much.
I guess the saying runs true– if you want something done the right way, do it yourself.

Signature Maids is a great reliable cleaning company. The weekly services done at my house are consistently professional and the house shines after they leave. I highly recommend using the company. I am satisfied customer.

The owner is cute as a button, but don’t expect any follow through. I’ve left several messages after he came to give me an estimate and he never got back to me. Now he’s avoiding my calls on purpose. My house is NICE. It’s always clean! I was just looking for someone to come touch up once a week and he didn’t even bother calling me back. Judging from the other reviews? He did me a favor.
