Walgreens

I’m just rating the pharmacy. They are the quickest pharmacy that I’ve ever used. I work at a hospital and they take wayyy longer than this Walgreens. Weird right? Every time I use the drive through and have my puppy with me, they give me a treat for her. I’ve had to call the pharmacist twice and both times they were super nice. (Inside, the regular lines are always long and no one is ever at the photo center). But the pharmacy is great.

Having recently moved I was stuck with choosing a new Walgreens for my pharmacy use and I must say this has to be the absolute worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Even after they personally call to tell me my prescription was ready on two different days I get there and they were not ready. The wait time of going through the drive thru is always a minimum of 20 min not matter how many cars are there. Having used this pharmacy three times already I come for a fourth and they don’t even have my insurance in the system. Personally I think the extra 15 min drive is worth more than using this pharmacy.

People please do not depend on this pharmacy for accurate and timely prescriptions. I received a voicemail message that my script was ready for pick up, however when I arrived they apologized for the phone call because they were out of stock. Not sure how you mess that up. I will not return to this Walgreens for my prescriptions.

IF YOU NEED PRESCRIPTIONS IN A TIMELY MANNER, DO NOT USE THIS STORE!
My wife recently got ill while she was traveling in Florida. It was a Sunday and I had our family doctor call in (from Texas) for the prescription to this Walgreen location at around noon. They took the order, but when my wife went there to pick up the prescription about 3PM they claimed not to have received any prescription.
I called my doctor up again and he reordered the prescription, and at 6PM CST they still did not have it.
I called the store to find out what was going on, and they never picked up. After several attempts, someone called Louise picked up and was oblivious about the prescription. When I told her that my doctor had called in couple of times, she advised me that she was a call center and not the store. She was wanting take another prescription order and I told her that I just wanted the prescription filled. At that point she said she would connect me to the store. My wife in her sickness was a the store waiting for the prescription for over an hour at that point
I was on hold for 45 minutes (where the store was not answering their phones). My wife was in the store in front of the pharmacy and she noticed that the phone was ringing but the staff didn’t even bother picking up the phone. (I was using one phone to talk with my wife, while my other phone was on hold with the store). The store somehow found the prescription and filled it close to 7:30PM while I was making a stink about it.
Finally, around 8:40 EST someone by the name of ‘Ocoro’ pick up the phone. Not only was he RUDE but was not even able to explain why they did not receive the prescription when it was submitted around noon. I told him I was on the phone for 45 minutes… and he was like…“tough shit”…see the picture of my phone time attached.
Overall, I find this location extremely unreliable and unprofessional. How would one rely on a store like this to fill your prescriptions in an emergency? I think Walgreens better retrain their staff to be more courteous to their customers and rethink the process of outsourcing the prescription ordering.
I will never use this location again and will stay away from Walgreen’s since this is an example of how customers are viewed more as a nuisance to their employees and corporate culture. Go FAIL miserably walgreens and stop taking money for crappy service you provide.

This Walgreens at one time was the highest grossing in prescription revenue in Broward county. Many contract changes have transpired, thus losing very a large client base.
I personally have experienced bringing in prescriptions for 4 family members and when I picked them up I Always check the medicines; for if it is what was written for and whom. I can attest to at least 4 times multiple errors were made on ALL the RXs! I would show the Pharmacist and he/​she would correct and apologize.
I let our insurance carrier know about the incidents and yes our company was one that NO longer does business with this company chain. They over charge by a gross amount of at least 150% by my calculations. I did not feel Safe Anymore with something that literally could kill one me or some one else. The thought of the others that don’t check their medicines really disturbed me greatly!
Several years they would have an annual audit of prescription records by the Feds and we were being called to ask for OUR records to cover a Mistake on their end. Or even have Our Doctor’s Office call to help them with their error. Nope!
That was IT! I pulled ALL our business and took it all somewhere else where safety is felt again and I can speak with pharmacists easily.
Safety is paramount! A pharmacist IS a Doctor, who must get a License in Each State just like a Medical Doctor.
Please be sure you feel safe where you go!
I only buy food or what nots now. WATCH OUT!

I had to write a review for this place !! I was truely disgusted with the pharmacy here !! I will never go back here again I rather drive to a different city then spend my money here !! The staff treated me poorly.. When one is sick they simply want their medication to get better and move on.. I was refused service here because my ID didn’t say city of davie even though I live in the city. The two women at the pharmacy were just nasty human beings !! Dont ever come here for your needs. there is a cvs down the street definitely gives you better treatment !!

Terrible service. Wait a long time at drive thru and have been over charged twice. Auto fill program does not work, have to call in to remind them.

1÷7÷15− I usually get chicken empanadas from the Pan Plus bakery items they have. Today, my empanada almost took out my 2 front teeth. This thing must of been there for 3 days. Disgusting. There should be a protocol to toss these items after a certain time. $ 1.89 for nothing.

I love Walgreens. Pay a little more when you need to get something right away, but don’t have to put up with the hassle of going into a Target, or worse yet, Walmart. If you do plan ahead and are into coupons, then you will have a Walgreens in your list of stores to «hit» with them.

Just a typical wall greens, but the location is nice across the street from NOVA, and they do always have the morning paper in stock. The clerks move the lines fast, the isles are clean, and there is always plenty of parking.
I will also not that they have the snickers bars in a location at the register that has made it so I am never able to get out of here without one.
