I’ll give Dr. Runquist ¹⁰⁄₁₀ if I could. Like the previous review, I also had an emergency with my braces – my wire had shifted to the right and kept stabbing my mouth. I was in so much pain, I couldn’t eat properly – I had to take pain killers to help with the pain. Since my orthodontist was in San Jose, I had no choice but to go see a orthodontist in the area.
Dr Runquist was very knowledgable and understanding. He was able to tell me the probable cause behind my wire shift and even gave me free wax. The entire treatment was free and he did everything so well. I can now eat properly!

This is truly a nice orthodontic experience. Dr. Runquist knows your child’s name and is up to date on the sport they are involved in! He also performs the work/​adjustments on your child’s braces himself. Wish I was in the know for child no. 1 who had a much different experience across town. Highly recommend! Office staff excellent and knowledgeable to boot!

I had a semi-​emergency with my braces — a wire popped out and was causing pain to my teeth and my cheeks. I found Dr. Runquist online, called the office, and they were willing to see me (this was a Thursday afternoon) with less than 2 hours notice.
The staff and Dr. Runquist were friendly and professional. I was seated, fixed up, and on my way out in under 30 minutes. Dr. Runquist was also fun to talk to, and a lot more gentle on my teeth than my regular ortho. But best of all? I was not charged for my visit. They turned my bad day into a good ol’ happy one.
This is based on only one visit, but from the service and treatment I received, I definitely recommend Dr. Runquist. If I ever have any braces problems (hopefully I never do again), I know who I am going to see.
