I’ve never had a problem with the doctors here and frankly my experience with my doctor has been great. My only complaint is the office staff, they always seem like they need a serious attitude adjustment. Wouldn’t hurt to smile at the patients once in awhile. You can even hear the attitude through the phone when you try to schedule an appointment.

This review is based on my personal observations as a patient and my observations of my loved one who was a patient there for four years. Administration The office double-billed for the same hour and the insurance company rightly denied payment. The office staff told my loved one that their insurance had been cancelled. I only discovered this later in a conversation with the insurance company; office staff never admitted that it was their fault. When you call for an appointment, the first question you’ll be asked is «do you have insurance?» Make no mistake, this is a multi-office mental health BUSINESS, and you are a customer. I drove 50 miles for my appointment only to be told that the appointment had been cancelled as they could not verify my insurance. I was not called to help them verify the insurance nor to tell me the appointment had been cancelled. The only folks here who care less about you are the psychiatrists. Psychiatrists Various psychiatrists including Dr. Joe and Dr. Ajay Singh prescribed two drugs, for four years that are a red-flag interaction on ; «symptoms may include mental status changes such as irritability, altered consciousness, confusion, hallucinations, and coma»; my loved one suffered from the first three symptoms while on these drugs. Loved one was not tapered off a Schedule 2 drug; rather Dr. Singh put loved one through cold-turkey withdrawal. After two months, loved one attempted suicide. Dr. Singh broke doctor-patient confidentiality with me even though I expressly forbade Dr. Singh to discuss our conversations with my loved one. Dr. Singh informed me that 80% of his patients self-diagnose; meaning that he is prescribing drugs for a condition he has not objectively evaluated, based solely on the patient’s perceptions of what might be the problem; keep in mind that the patient may have mental or emotional limitations on cognition. Despite repeated phone calls, and two written requests, complete with ID documentation, Dr. Singh will not provide loved one with a copy of his/her medical records. Section 123110 of the Health & Safety Code specifically provides that any adult patient is entitled to inspect patient records and is entitled to copies of all or any portion of his or her records that he or she has a right to inspect, upon written request to a physician.
