DOESNOTGUARANTEEWORK! I have had several pairs of pants hemmed here over the last few months. They were a little pricey and took a while to be ready, but it offset the convenience factor of the location. The hem fell out on a pair of pants after infrequent wearing over a few months. I brought them in. The owner(Jerry) called and said I would have to pay to get them fixed. When paying $ 12 – 14 to hem a pair of pants, I expect him to stand behind the work performed. He was rude and clearly needs to learn some customer service skills.

Have been there three times and every time has been a disaster. Not only are they overpriced but they aren’t very good. Twice now they have mixed up my order. Giving me two of my items and one of someone else’s. Making me drive back twice to pick up. In addition they gave me a receipt saying one price and then told me it was a lot more the girl just forgot to add an extra shirt to the total, making me drive home for a third time to get more cash! They were rude, gave me no discount for the three trips I had to make, and didn’t even remove the three little stains on the shirts. Just so bad.

I must say that this is the first time I’ve ever actually gone far enough as to express my distaste for a business, but this is well deserved for a number of different occurrences. I will admit that it is convenient to have a dry cleaners on the South Davis side as no other business has found value in the demographic that resides there. However, the hours make it difficult to pick up or drop off during the work week. In regards to the quality of services provided, I could not be more disappointed. My best and most expensive suits are consistently not wrapped in plastic and are commonly mismatched. The turn around time is lacking and the overnight or next day service is very expensive. There was a time when I needed an alteration. I went in, was measured and quoted a time to pick up. Upon my return for pickup, I found that the specifications for the item were no where near what I needed and actually made that uniform unusable as it did not match the regulations of the organization I was working with. When I returned to have this addressed, I was told it was my fault for clearly asking wrong and was given a $ 5 off coupon to have it done again. Not only did I not have time for these to be completed, I was appalled at the request for additional monies. However, I sent them back during a break from work when I found one. When I picked them up a second time, I wore them for 45 minutes before the hem came out of the bottom of one of the legs, making it hang down and look very unprofessional. I went home that evening, pulled out a needle and thread, and fixed it myself. That one piece of sewing thread has held for over a month and hours of use and is still holding fast. Again, I apologize for being so blunt in my experience, but I will surely not be doing business here again. this is not to say others have not exceptional experiences in dealing with these folks, but for about $ 100 a month in dry cleaning, it is not unreasonable to expect quality in result

This is the only dry-clean business in South Davis! LOCATION5⁄5: Super convenient because it locates next to a nail shop, a hair salon, Office Max, Safeway, Rite Aid and many food places! After I drop off my clothes here everytime, I always give myself an excuse to stop by Teabo for boba! SERVICE5⁄5: I usually see Arlene at the front desk. She will count and seperate differrent kinds of clothing before putting in the order. I never need my clothes right away, so the usual overturn is five days. Arlene is very knowledgable and helpful! She was the one who introduced me about their loyal program in Optown app! So please download this app!!! Along with the regular washing, they also offer additional services such as shaving and removing pet hair. I will definitely come back for more and more of course!

I’m writing this to save others in the future– Prices for this dry cleaner are on the pricey side. I consider dry cleaning above $ 5 per shirt, as pricey. For this price, I would expect great customer service, convenience, and/or something that would convince me to overpay. From a convenience side, their hours are a bit below average. Not open on a weekend day(Sunday) and closing at 5pm on a Saturday is a bit silly since the majority of the working force that needs dry cleaned clothes will be working beyond their weekday hours(I believe they close around 7 on weekdays too), which is an additional inconvenience. On the customer service side, I experienced poor customer service too. While dropping off my clothes, the lady miss counted my pants. Since I have had dry cleaners loose clothes of mine in the past, this is an immediate concern. I had to correct her so that I wouldn’t be surprised upon pickup. Also, I noticed a 10% off discount being offered, while I was paying for my clothes. The worker told me I was not allowed to use the discount because it was only available while dropping clothes off initially. That would have been helpful to know earlier, especially being a first time customer(information wasn’t told to me, so I was S.O.L.). They could keep the few bucks– they lost a customer. All in all, proceed at your own risk. Seems like other people are ok with this place, could be that they’ve been coming for years or don’t venture past Davis looking for dry cleaners. Maybe Davis doesn’t offer enough volume to allow for normal prices, but I definitely did not experience any value here. I wish everyone the best of luck!

Consistently professional and friendly service from Arlene. Multiple jeans hemmed with matching stitching-looks great!
