Luci at Luci’s Salon

Luci was AMAZING! I’m a senior at Davis and am going back home to the Bay Area soon, but I’m going to make it a point to commute just to see her. She’s absolutely worth it! She cuts like a magician. That’s the only way I can describe her abilities! It was effortless and magical! Thank you so much Luci! I will be back!

I love Luci’s Salon. She is an amazing colorist and her salon is very classy. I always feel welcome and leave with beautiful hair… so worth every penny!!!

Lucy was awesome! I have rather thin, fine hair and she did an awesome job in the front with the bangs and the layers; it gave a really nice, fuller body look. After I got home, I decided that I wanted a little more layering in the back, so I called her up and she was happy to add more layers free of charge. Lovely person to chat with as well. I will certainly be going back.

I usually don’t get my hair done in salons, but I wanted a drastic change from my hair that was down to my hips to hair that hung a little bit above my shoulders. I Unilocaled around Davis for a good salon with a decent price and came upon Lucis.
Tucked away in a tiny spot, it’s easy for a passerby to miss this place. It has a tiny cute feel to it, but not very busy since it seems like a lot of people don’t really know that it exists. The staff was very nice and I had my hair done by Luci herself. She said she loved cutting hair short drastically like I wanted.
I came in with some pictures on my phone of some haircuts I was thinking of and she did a great job on figuring out exactly what I wanted. Usually when I cut my hair short, I always get the dreaded feeling of loss for my hair. Not this time though! I loved it and felt so sassy with it. Haircuts: Stellar!
Con: I scheduled ahead of time and came on time to my appointment, but we didn’t start my haircut until 15 minutes later. It might have just been something had happened, but it worried me a bit since I was on a small time crunch.
Other than that, great job and definitely recommend.

Luci is wonderful! She listens to where you’re at in your life. And interprets where your hair can support you into the future. And makes that happen. Appearance, and hair, have so much more influence than they should! But, given that, let Luci know what you’re trying to achieve, and she will help you make that happen! She de-​frumped me and I got the dream job I dreamed of!

Luci is absolutely amazing! I’ve had some bad hair experiences and my hair was basically a damaged mess, so I was skeptical what could be done. I’ve wanted to go blonder for almost a year and the journeys been long and I’ve made very little progress. I initially warned Luci that I had a lot of hair which usually takes 3 – 4 hours to process.
Luci was able to do a full highlight and she threw in a keratin treatment at a huge discount all in the span of 2 hours! That was my fastest appointment ever AND I left as a blonde!!! Luci really takes pride in her work and it definitely shows!
In addition, Luci is very easy to talk to, extremely kind, and she knows her stuff!
I would highly recommend that anyone looking for quality work at a great price go to Luci!

I have been going to Liz for several years. I always put 100% faith into what she will do. I was scared to cut my hair short, but she gave me confidence, and it turned out better than I imagined it would. Now I have kept my hair short for a year and I love it. I can always count on Liz, and she is a natural at what she does. She has a great vision and is always able to deliver.
The salon is cozy and it is a comfortable environment. I received a lot of compliments when Liz was finished!

I love Luci! I found Luci about a little over a year when my hair was pink (yes pink. Total accident) due to trying to get my hair from bleached to dirty blonde on my own. She didn’t bat an eye and she got to work and it turned out amazing! I now go to her every month to get a touch up and a trim and I am always so pleased with her work! I’m a busy graduate student so my time and money is very important to me so I need someone who knows what she’s doing, doesn’t take a long time doing it, and does it right every time. Luci fits all of these expectations.

Luci is family. I’ve been getting my hair cut with her since I was a scared little out-​of-​state freshman at UCD. I used to get my hair cut by whoever was available at her old location, but quickly figured out that Luci is so good at what she does that she does quality work in half the time as everyone else.
She’s also an amazing person all around. I am in the process of starting a new business and she’s been so helpful giving me inside tips on small business in Davis! If I had more dispensable income I’d visit her a lot more. Lol! But I think she knows that, so she always cuts my hair so that the layers grow out very gracefully lol!

I’ve got to say, I screwed my hair up pretty bad. I bleached it multiple times to the point where it was falling out. LUCI SAVED MY LIFE! She is by far the best stylist I have ever been to. She truly cares about her clients’ hair. She is an artist, plain and simple. I will never get my hair done by anyone but her. Best color correction, color AND cut in Davis.

I am new to Davis and it is always a little scary trying out a new hair salon, but I was SO happy with my cut and color at Luci’s! She really did a great job, and I left feeling and looking great. You can tell that she is very skilled and knowledgable and I was very impressed with how much time she took to ask questions and make sure she understood what I was looking for. I will definitely go to Luci’s again!
