This is by far is the best dental office I have ever been to. The assistants are SO nice and always keep my youngsters entertained. The ceilings are covered In planes, not to mention the working train that goes around the facility and the working gondolas. Mr. Mandelaris has clearly put lots of extra money into the office providing kids with movies while they are getting there teeth cleaned and goodie bags when they’re done. All in all it is a great place for your kids and would definitely suggest takin them there.

This was my son’s first dental visit ever. He was a little guy. We visited for our regular 6 month check-​ups. At our fourth visit, the dental ASSISTANT informed us that our son had 8 cavities beween all of his molars and that all of them would have to be pulled out while my son was under sedation at the hospital our insurance covered. Scary. After I pulled it together, I paid for not one, but THREE additional opinions. All of them did note that my son had decay between the molars but NONE of the other three suggested such extreme and aggressive treatment. It has been 2 years since our last Mandelaris visit and my son still has his molars — with continued fluoride treatment his decay has been sustained and his teeth are fine. I pay about $ 40 dollars a visit for this extra treatment every 6 months. Needless to say, the cost is a lot less then that horrendous surgery would have cost. Not to mention the crazy risk we would have taken in sedating our son and the pain. I can’t imagine how many others have been scared into very aggressive, unnecessary treatment. Proceed with caution and when they want to do surgery, get a second opinion.

My son’s been going here for about 4 years now and they are great, very friendly staff. They are open on Saturdays which is a huge thing for working parents! Dr Stojik is our favorite. Mandelaris himself is a bit of an old grouch, but his staff is great.
