The only positive I have to say is that appointments are easy to come by should you have an urgent need. I’ve dealt with allergies and asthma for decades now, so I have a pretty extensive (and well-​documented) history of my triggers and what treatments have and have not worked.
Dr. Brown simply didn’t listen. I’m not even sure he requested/​read any of my medical history before he pressured me into tests and treatments that didn’t work, some of which I’d already tried. When I told him they weren’t working he questioned whether I was really sick at all and told me to «get over it.»
I could give him an extra star and put this down to a conflict of personalities if, on top of these issues, I hadn’t been treated so rudely by his staff. They tried to charge me $ 200 for an office visit (my co-​pay should have been ~$ 20). Six months later, after they’d threatened to send my bill to a collections agency, I finally discover that they miscoded my office visit as an abortion. I never got an apology.

Dr. Brown and his staff are super friendly and very welcoming! I have the worst allergies and being in Davis really just made them worst than they’ve ever been. After being there for a couple years I finally decided that maybe I should try allergy shots and see if that alleviated any of my problems. I was referred through my primary physician to Dr. Brown’s office, who got me in right away. After a consultation and an allergy test I was on my way to doing regular shots.
The office staff and Dr. Brown is very accommodating and helpful. They checked on often and when I sadly had to move back to the Bay Area after graduating they helped me gather my documents and serums as well as giving me a list of allergy specialists in my area that I could go to. I give it 4 stars mainly b/​c I was only a patient here for 2 – 3 months and only saw Dr. Brown once or twice but I’m sure if I’d stayed longer it’d be 5 stars :)
I will miss the staff (who were all fantastic!), the large office, and the friendly faces. I wish I could’ve stayed w/​that office but home was calling: (And my lease was up/​I graduated so no point in bumming around! I highly recommend seeing Dr. Brown for any allergy symptoms/​issues!
