The only good people there anymore are the veteran baristas.(Travis, Nick, Etc.) The rest of the people that work there are so rude beyond belief and act like a bunch of high school students. If it wasn’t for their dwindling veteran staff, I probably would go somewhere else. I’ve been going to this location daily for almost 2 years now and over the summer, the group of people working here has seemed to change. I don’t know if they have graduated or what but its frustrating. Everyday when I would walk over I would look forward to it. Now not so much. Just seems like they don’t even wanna be there.

Great location, s-bux coffee as you’d expect it. Staff, on the other hand, rude!!! One of the worst customer experiences of my life.

The staff was sooo friendly and nice however it just wasn’t the best atmosphere to be relaxed and enjoy the coffee while studying. Few homeless people came in to use the restroom and several loudy teenagers came in for tap water etc. Overall it was a very interesting Starbucks experience I never had anywhere else.

I came here with a bad experience and decided to come in here the next day to give them the benefit of the doubt. Yesterday, I ordered a drink and got a free sandwich offer. I waited 10 minutes while the baristas were chatting away and talking about customers. I overheard the barista(I believe his name was Nick) that made my sandwich, «hehe I forgot to press the start button.» Which is not a funny matter… and he continued along and didn’t say anything to me. Then I waited another 5 minutes and finally asked where is my sandwich? The barista goes«oh, uhh, I forgot I burned it, let me make you another.» And for some reason it was handed to me in 2 minutes. Why did I wait 20 minutes??? Today, my coworker said he needed some coffee in his system and i decided to give them another chance. Even when I was ordering my drinks very clearly, «Can I have a venti smores frap and a tall one as well,» the cashier didn’t understand me and I had to correct her that I wanted two drinks. Sigh. Then my coworker texted me he wanted two sandwiches and so I went up to the register again to make the order and they handed me my venti frap, which also was only ¾ full and tried to be hidden with whip cream to the top. She then made my sandwiches INTWOMINUTES(unlike the day before) and sent me on the way. I had to ask where was my other drink and the manager said oh maybe she didn’t understand me ;-; this is the closest Starbucks to me. However, I’m a pretty understanding person and the fact that they mess up this much in two days and i was the only customer ordering there both times, I don’t think I can come here anymore.

Super fast and always friendly, I didn’t think I came that often and yet not one but three(at least) know my preferred drink. Oops. The only bad thing about it is several people hanging around outside in the morning asking for money and it’s a bit cramped inside being at the heart of downtown, but when you need to just get your drink and go, A+, definitely.

I work just a block away from this Starbucks so needless to say I frequently go to this location as well as my coworkers. The baristas at this location are pretty great. When I cant decide what I want to get they always act like it’s completely fine even though I know it drives them crazy LOL. The size is pretty small taking to account the amount of customers they get on a daily basis, but that’s not the staff’s fault at all. I do however have 2 negative things to say 1. When they aren’t busy the baristas talk to each other, which is understandable, but on at least three occasions I have gotten my frap half melted and have waited for over 8 minutes(not counting the time it took for me to order) even though I was the only order… 2. This doesn’t have anything to do with the baristas BUT I feel like I should share. I wanted to try their smoothies so I decided on the orange mango smoothie. FORYOURINFORMATION there is a WHOLE banana in it! I didn’t even taste the orange or mango. BTW I hate banana… So to sum it up. It’s a pretty great location and 90% of the time great drinks fast. UPDATE: Took a star away. They have hired a new staff that seems to be abnormally chatty. There’s always stories being told and I for one do not care who they’re dating or beefing with. They have messed up my drinks many times in my past couple of experiences, I come so often that I really hate going back and asking them to «make it right». The worst experience was I ordered a white chocolate mocha, super early in the morning, very tired and they made me a hot chocolate! I needed caffeine for a reason! I would have went back that day, too bad I was opening at my job and I couldn’t leave since I was the only one there for a couple of hours. VERYDISAPPOINTEDWITHTHISNEWSTAFF.

When I have the need for coffee before jumping on the amtrak, I’d swing by here. This Starbucks is always packed with people, then again, it is smack in downtown area. The place is always pretty clean(unless it’s packed with people, but that’s understandable when swamped), adorable and there’s a huge wall of cups/mugs for sale towards the back. They all look so pretty and always tempt me to get one while waiting for my coffee. For a fairly small Starbucks, this place runs really smoothly and service is always pretty quick. The baristas are always very friendly and helpful needing something clarified. As the holidays roll around, the seasonal drinks reappear on the board and I’d say that the peppermint mocha is my favorite… then again, I like pretty much anything that’s peppermint. What I love most now is that if I forget my wallet or Starbucks card, I can always use my phone to pay. Thank-goodness that technology has come such a long way. I always try too get my drinks during times that they have discounts(like buy one get one free between 2pm-5pm) but when there’s a need for coffee… I need my coffee, with an extra shot please. Just one wee problem that I have is that when I get espresso based drinks, this Starbucks sometimes has more of a milk taste than the espresso(very very mild taste… sometime feels like I’m drinking warm milk). I can totally take the punch of espresso, bring it on! Final Thoughts: When I need coffee, I get coffee.

Super nice baristas! They make your drinks not only well, but fast. Compared to the campus Starbucks, these baristas seem to be more well trained in making drinks and customer service. Good amount of tables with sufficient power outlets near by. The outdoor seating is nice but there may be annoying flies. Overall, I really like this Starbucks. It’s cheaper than the campus stores and they make my drinks perfect every time!

Nice seating set-up with tables in and out, plus bar. Helpful staff. Friendly. Very busy, this is the go-to for the area. Wi-Fi worked great. A few friendly homeless people, but no one harassed anyone.

I came here on the way home from Tahoe. Grossest and dirtiest Starbucks I have ever been to. Cups lying everywhere, busy and no milk etc. on counter. Not impressed. Drink made for me was fine, but that is all I can say that is positive.

This is a very cozy Starbucks, inside. The employees all seem really nice, and they do a good job with their drinks. In terms of product, leave it up to Starbucks to be consistent. More or less, their products taste the same as any Starbucks, but this is definitely a very nice little store.

I haven’t used my Unilocal account in years, but I’m logging in to rate this place. I’ve been here on and off, and I’m consistently delighted with how sweet the employees are! They’re friendly and make AWESOME lattes. Best Starbucks I’ve ever been to!

For a college town Starbucks, this one is pretty snazzy. I brought in my reusable tumbler and they not old cleaned it for me, but brewed me new coffee, even though I’m sure they had to anyway, but it still made me feel special, and all pretty ladies like to feel special! They have a ton f seating which is nice, and being in a college town they definitely need it. Employees are great! Perhaps the most adorable of all Starbucks employees. Id frequent this place if I decide to move to Davis in the fall.

Starbucks of Davis, CA95616 is a great place to go for a coffee experience. This Starbucks is good to stop by for a quick coffee, but seating is definitely very limited, so don’t plan on staying long. The workers are very friendly, and they work quickly. Also, there’s a bagel shop next door to help make your Saturday morning complete. Note: No health hazards/violations were noted at this location.

I love this Starbucks the most in Davis! When the sun is out and the weather is warm, I grab a beverage and bring my studying outside of their store and lounge there for some hours! The location is convenient too! I love how it is close to campus and in central downtown where it is easy to find different kinds of food during the afternoons when I want lunch!

The Most A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E Crowd of Any Starbucks By Far… SITREP I have got to give it to a University town like Davis, CA. Sometimes you can really give a rat’s ass about the coffee because the scenery is so exceptional. THESET-UP With the University of California @ Davis just a stone’s throw away — almost ANY direction — this is one of the nicest locations of any Starbucks that I’ve been to. So no surprise that most of the clientele at this nifty, decorative, roomy and classy store set-up, happen to be UCDavis co-eds, grad students, professional students, faculty, et al. This Starbucks has one of the nicest, largest patios in the area of any Starbucks and makes for a wonderful chill spot as you watch the people and cyclists go by(or stop and hang out!) COMMONTHEMEWELLREPRESENTED Like any other Starbucks in the family, this location has friendly baristas & staff, and is complete with the free wifi. In addition, as my associates and I have found, this location is central to many excellent restaurants and pubs and bars and the theatre all nearby. «LASTCHANCEGAS!» But one other important detail too. Often in a rush to get out of Sacramento and on to the freeway to high tail it to all points in the Bay Area, often the planned stop at one of the Sacramento-location Starbucks is unfortunately MISSED and I sadly don’t realize this fact until already WELLONMYWAY on Westbound I-80 Causeway between Sacramento and Davis. So this location makes for a last minute«catch» so that I can grab a coffee and still enjoy it without being rushed before reaching the Bay. THELOWDOWN My all-time favorite«In-Transit» Starbucks, but also so much more when you get to hang with the University vibe!
