If you enjoy quality craft beer then this is the place you should visit while I’m the area. It is obvious to me that they take pride in what they are doing and are gifted in their craft.

A growing, family-run brewpub in quaint Davis, WV. Well worth the trip if only for Stumptown’s phenomenal beers. The bar is a pleasant light-filled space with a wood-themed motif, a bit small, but likely to grow as this business is bound to expand. The beers are exceptionally well-hopped, well-priced at happy hour but maybe a little high at their premium price. The quality is exceptional. I didn’t eat, but the food looked appetizing as it came out of the kitchen. Definitely make the trip to Davis and make Stumptown Ales your first stop.

Great beer, great atmosphere, friendly people. Why wouldn’t you spend your evening here? It’s a short walk from your favorite Davis eateries, so you can stop by before or after dinner. The beers are pretty hop-forward for the east coast and they have a pretty good range.

I promised I’d cease commenting on atmosphere, décor, and ambiance after South Park’s Unilocal episode … That said, all of the above are outstanding here. The feel of this place is great, unusually great. The owner greeted us. The beer selection was outstanding, unusually good for a small venue. I had a pulled pork sandwich, also well done. Overall, I had a great experience here… I can’t complain.

Stumptown Rocks it! The owners are great people who are highly involved in making downtown Davis a go to place. The beers are really good and the names will make you chuckle. The feel of this place is that you have been invited into someone’s home. Conversation flows and you really feel like your part of the«regulars». I recommend the«Porter, I barley knew her». Great beers and a great value. I Highly recommend it!

My favorite spot to relax in Davis. Outstanding brews… the«Porter… I Barley Knew Her», is simply brilliant. Plenty of seats at the magnificent solid wood bar or surrounding tables. Always meet interesting folks… both among the growing local clientele plus the ever expanding number of visiting tourists.

Great spot! Cool, earthy interior décor, good(if limited) food options, and amazing beers. Stumptown offers some of the best and most unique beer offerings I’ve tried at a brewery this size. The adventurous and bold brews are a good complement to the more standard(though still good) beer offerings up the road.

Love this place. Great, well curated beer selection — their own and other local brews. The owners are extremely friendly. It has a very cool vibe inside with lots of furniture made of beautiful large tree trunks and stumps. The comfy rocking chairs in front of the fire place is a great touch. Definitely stop in for a beer if you’re in Davis.

This brewpub is a great addition to Davis and the local craft brew scene. In my opinion, of the three local breweries this is the best. The ales are just plain delicious. The ambience is calming and homey, with a beautiful wood bar. The place was filled with kind people. A must if you’re in the area and love craft beer.
