Feeding a mass of hungry college students isn’t an easy task but the TxMx Grill has got an assembly line set up, prepared for battle and ready to serve. Tell them every little detail about your order and they’ll note it down on a slip of red paper, pass it along, and whip out your food in no time. Watch in awe(but don’t drool!) as they put together your taco salad or roll your burrito with expertise. I ordered an especial chicken burrito with sour cream on the side and chips. Definitely impressed that they made an effort to try and ‘mix’ the ingredients before rolling it up so I would be able to have a bit of everything in each bite. And though I opted for chips, it was nice to have the option of an apple instead. The tortilla chips have a loud crunch to then so you know they haven’t been sitting there getting stale. And theyre salted so you really don’t need salsa to dip. But if you do, its available a la carte for 0.50, choice of mild spicy or pico de gallo. Not sure how bad the lines get when its lunch time, but I will happily shove people out of the way to get my burrito from TxMx Grill if need be. Oh, and did I mention this is located in the ASUCD Coffee House? That would be nice to know should you plan on making a stop here.
