My husband and I were in downtown Davis leaving the Visitor Center with trail maps and we noticed this shop across the street. Our curiosity led us inside and we were greeted by two very nice, friendly women. This place is a cute, folksy shop with a great selection of clothing, candles and random items you wouldn’t find anywhere nearby. I found a nice dress and hand warmers that looked great. Glad we stopped by!

This store is cute, charming, and full of fun and eclectic items. I’ve been here twice now and I think that’s enough to form an opinion. Pricing is nice on most items and I was pleased with the variety. My mother and I came in(because I told her we had to go to the«hippie dippy» store) and we ended up picking out each others’ stocking stuffers together. I really like how the store is located in the old National Bank of Davis and that you can actually walk into where the vault once was while you’re browsing. This is a really nice little shop. I find it hard to believe that the manager was being anything but helpful and pleasant with the other reviewer, but of course, guilty people are always overly offended when sales staff do anything more than sit around and wait for them to check out. This is a great store and I will definitely be stopping in again next year!

This shop had a lot to offer for those who are looking for eclectic items. They have everything from herbs, musical instruments and clothing. Some items appear handmade. I gave this store 2 stars because 3 times in 15 to 20 minutes the manager insisted she take items I had chosen from me to put up at the register. The first time I thought«how nice to be so helpful» by the third time I realized she didn’t want me stealing anything. When I realized this I just left with my purchases. I was embarrassed and sorry I spent $ 82.00 at this store. I could have changed my mind, but I felt her fears would just be validated. I am always very careful in stores to make sure my purse is closed and I keep all items in my hand in plain sight. If management is so afraid of bring ripped off they should have baskets. I left with feeling awful and won’t be back next year.
