I am a current resident of charter oaks apartments. My mother and I moved in 7 – 8 years ago, and at first it was great. The first 2 – 3 years maintenance came when we called, fixed everything to perfectly new or close, and the treated us very nicely. But after the beginning of living here maintenance began showing up later and later and half the time not even coming! We tried to move from a 3rd floor apartment to the very bottom floor — same building and hallway, and were denied 2 days before we were going to move and had all our stud packed and friends ready to help. They blamed it on some carpet stains and wall scuffs — SUCH A JOKE! They steam clean or recarpet every apt when someone moves out and paint regardless of what it looks like. They always have bullshit excuses for their residents for this, that, and the other thing. I don’t recommend these apts to anyone to live in!
