Chee Kong Restaurant

The food here was ok but i am very disappointed with the service. I asked for a side of cream and the waitress brought me a glass of Cream and charged me $ 2.65 for it even though it was not what i wanted. Then she refused to give me a bill and just wrote the total on a piece of paper and i thought that was fishy. So i asked for a receipt and she said they didn’t have any. It appeared to me she was pocketing the money so i payed with the credit card. She charged me for just my meals and asked me to leave her $ 3.00 extra in the tip section to cover my milk (that i did not want) i said id just pay cash for it (to be nice) and she took my money but didn’t put it in the draw. Good food! But very shaddy! I was very annoyed with it!

I’ve never been disappointed with a meal from Chee Kong. Try the General Tso’s Chicken. The take-​out is good, but eating in is even better.

They are located in the practically vacant Davison Plaza on State Street, back behind the Apollo Coney Island building.
I’ve never been disappointed with the Chinese food I’ve ordered from Chee Kong. It’s always been delicious and plentiful. I wish they delivered. They are closed on mondays and open until 11pm every other day.
