Señor Lucky’s is one of my husband’s and I most favorite places to hang out and eat! The Mexican pizza and flautas are awesome. Can’t beat three dollar pitchers every Sunday and Monday — service is awesome, Jessica and Tracy are great bartenders

I’m surprised this place even has 2.5 stars. The manager is very rude and flirts with married men up there. The service has sucked every time I go in there. Last time I went I saw our server two times and that was to take our order and drop food off. Never did refills or a follow up or asked if we needed boxes and we had to go find her for our bill then find another waitress to take care of our bill because our waitress was no where to be found. It was awful and their bathrooms are disgusting! I wouldn’t recommend the dump and usually I’m all for home town restaurants.

Not bad. Standard Mexican fare. The chips and salsa weren’t my favorite, but the rest of the food was pretty good. I came here with. Group of moms. The service was quick and friendly and everyone seemed to enjoy their food. Many of them got the chicken tortilla soup and thought it was delicious. I opted for a salad. I believe I got chicken enchiladas verde. They were good. Not the best I’ve ever had, but far from the worst.

Food is good but the place is getting outdated and dirty, we’ve been there 20 times but lately it has gone down hill, there were big carpenter ants on the wall last time, would recommend el charritos instead of this place!!!

Just short of real authentic mexican food, this place has some very yummy mexican food! Very good prices! Free chips! Outdoors seating available! Friendly staff! I highly recommend this place!

This place was just horrible. 9:45 pm I call night before for a take out order. I order a 1 sour cream chicken both enchiladas, as you get to choose 2, with extra sour cream sauce. 1 super wet burrito chicken, no tomato, sour cream sauce instead of enchilada sauce. First the woman who took my order did NOT ask my name or give me a price she just gave a time on when to pick them up. I was getting ready for my 12 hour shift at the hospital so I did not care. I pick up the food and pay at 10:03 pm head back home to drop off my husbands dinner and take mine to work with me expecting it to be the right food. By the time I finally get a chance to eat my food on my break around 3 am in the morning I am horrified that my enchiladas are SEAFOOD… NOTCHICKEN like I ordered… So I was stuck at my work on my only lunch break with the WRONG food… I had to force myself to eat even part of it as I actually am WORKING and need energy to survive the night. As I am leaving work around 11:35 am or so I look up the times on when this place opens which the website says«12 pm» So as soon as 12 pm roles around I call and ask to speak to a manager. The girl tells me the«Manager is making drinks and would call me back»… That right there was a big red flag for me as I NEEDTOSLEEP. So instead of waiting for this person to call me back I go up there myself to tell him/her what had happened. I walk into the restaurant and ask for a manager and am told by the«Bartender» that there is none… Gina the«Bartender»(not manager) was rude and uncomprehending in any way shape or form. She asks what I order I try to tell her as she is partially listening even though there are 4 people working the floor and only 2 people at the bar… Once I finally explain she looks at the partially eating meal and states«This is half eatin I am not giving you another meal» I then counter what was I to do because I am STUCK in a hospital for 12HOURS and can not just LEAVE to go get different food. She refuses once more and I gave up. I am now calling my bank and claiming the transaction as fraud as I was NOT given my meal and the people at the restaurant are REFUSING to make it right. Easy to say I and ALL of my family who live in Davison will NEVER be returning to that horrible place ever again!!!

It’s ok, it didn’t blow me away. The reviewer below that said this is more of a bar than a restaurant is correct.

We really enjoyed the wet burrito and the shredded beef quesadilla. The margarita was outstanding. The décor and ambience could definitely be better but overall a decent Mexican restaurant.

More of a bar than a restaurant! I don’t mind the mixed atmosphere, but the food is bland, I have given this place a try a few times and they keep falling short. It’s not authentic Mexican food, more like Cony Island with ok service.

Went here tonight with my mom… we normally go to Don Pablos but we thought we’d give this place a try… the food was okay, but it had nothing on Don Pablos… but the service was pretty bad, the waitress was very sweet nice that she was very very slow… it took a few minutes for us to be acknowledged when we walked in the door… the restaurant really wasn’t that busy for us to have to wait the way we did and for the slow service from the waitress. it was okay wasn’t the worst we had definitely not the best we had. We will be returning to Don Pablos from here on out. Maybe I just love tex mex food better than authentic Mexican food. but I do know that I hate slow service

It is hard to give Señor Lucky’s a 3rd star. Unlike some of the other reviewers, I have never had a serious issue with service. But the food is absolutely nothing to write home about. Just run of the mill mediocre Mexican food.

This restaurant is a perfect example of how quickly things can change. A year or so ago, I was ready to give Señor Lucky’s 4 or 5 stars. I held off on a review at the time because I had only eaten there a few times and always ordered the same exact thing. I wanted to venture out on their menu before I gave them the full 5 stars. That said, I have now been back many times and have tried many menu items. Unfortunately for them, my experiences the last 3 times have been terrible from start to finish(food, service, drinks, you name it… terrible). Starting with the service; insanely poor. The wait is very long for any type acknowledgment from a wait person, after you have been seated. The tables do not seem clean upon arrival. The staff, as a whole, seem unorganized and like they simply don’t give a shit. I will say some of the staff is friendly but their friendliness did not help them in caring or even doing an okay job. In fact, one waitress disclosed to my mother and I that she really didn’t want to work there; she had a degree but was stuck because she couldn’t get hired anywhere else. She also told us she had never really waited tables before and was winging it. Again, she was friendly but made mistake after mistake with our order and really shouldn’t have been discussing her career misfortunes with us. It made the dinner a bit awkward. Continuing with the service, I have to repeat this; the wait is ridiculous for drinks, food, straws, napkins, whatever. Be prepared to be sitting at you table for quite some time for any type of assistance. The service will turn an hour dinner into a 3 hour dinner, no lie. Moving onto the food. Well, if you want to call it that. It’s more like dog food, these past few visits. No wait, my dogs eat lamb/rice premium health food from the pet store. Their food is better than Lucky’s. Yikes! The food(to which I used to love) has taken a nosedive, fast. The steak fajitas are now so fatty, you cannot attempt to eat them. The flavor/texture on the steak has completely changed over the course of a year. The steak is tough, fatty, and slightly burnt. It almost seemed like they cooked fatty scraps to make up the meal and like they cooked it on dirty cleaning surfaces(due to the texture I noticed). So gross!!! The rice was the only real thing that was edible and that was simply because it had no flavor whatsoever. I was hungry so I did complete my rice. The con queso dip was probably the most disgusting item of all though. It was runny, a strange color, had a bad odor, and tasted foul. We requested they remove the bowl of it from our table. Double gross!!! In regards to their margarita’s, they are never consistent. I have had some that were WAY to strong. Some that were so sour, they hurt your teeth. Some that were so weak, you thought they forgot the alcohol. Out of the 8 – 10 margarita’s I have had there on these past few visits, none were made well but all were made different. I assume a non-bartender is pouring these things but who knows?! I will never go back here. Unless, the redo EVERYTHING. It is quite a shame too because I really enjoyed this place a couple of years ago. Hell, even last year they were producing good eats and decent service. I am not sure if management changed or what happened but whatever it was, it was a big fat mistake!

Four of us came here on a Saturday night. The food was decent but the service was terrible. They were not that busy when we got there, we had five people tell us they would be right with us. Finally, we got someone to clear a table and we were seated. Our server was rude and her attitude just plain sucked. It wasn’t until I started giving it back to her that she eased up and became friendly but still it was uncalled for. The salsa was good, the chicken enchiladas were good but nothing ruins your meal like crappy service. Like I said the food was decent and I would love to come back if I could get a different server.

HORRIBLESERVICE! Rudest waitress in my life! Acted like she didn’t have the time to deal with us– what the heck?! Blah décor. Blah food. Worst margaritas ever! They were thick & syrupy– barely any tequila! What a waste of time & $$$!!
